Unfortunately some patients develop stiffness or scar tissue which impedes their motion and recovery. Your doctor may recommend a MUA - manipulation under anesthesia - in an attempt to improve your motion. In this video I'll talk about scar tissue, arthrofibrosis and when you might need a manipulation under anesthesia.
