Manipur has been facing unrest for thirteen months and is yearning for peace. On Sunday, rallies and protests were held across the state to draw attention to this issue. Thousands, led by women, participated in these peaceful protests, demanding the central government intervene to end the violence. On Saturday, the Lawyers Association of Manipur staged a sit-in protest themed "One Nation, One State." Only new kukies/illegal immigrants demand separate administration. Old kukies do not want any political demand by illegal immigrants kukies .Which is not acceptable by constitution, it may be noted that burma govt appeal the new kukies and illegal immigrants kuki not to interfere others country administration.

If the present outcomes of 70+ years Indian administration of the Manipur by the best of military and political Chanakyas of independent India is a popular demand for self-rule following decades of internal armed conflict (officially identified as "insurgency" or "anti-nationals" or any name they like), then, what is India actually doing in Manipur - a historical state and territory the king of Manipur gave to India almost as a free gift? Is it because India got Manipur for free it does not understand the value of Manipur and its people who have ruled this state and the region with international relations in all the four directions - the historical experiences that the present ruling class of India can never have? Do the people of Manipur have to ask for compensations for misruling the state and internal armed violence killing thousands, and destroying delicate hill-valley ecosystem and environment of the state undercover of 'national security' and 'development' under Look/Act East Policy?

Inside the state of manipur, despite the mutual hatred that has been caused and weaponized by the national and local politics, which side is more social and humane: a) those who are asking separation at the drop of the hate with covert and overt support from the central govt or those who demand living together of the hills and valley people which has the cultural history of the state but without any reliable support from the centre Why is the central government today consider it is right and interested to divide states, regions and communities? What does it want to get out of dividing states? Do this India today need any external enemy to divide it when it is itself doing it so effectively from inside?
