It was like a step into another world. When i got of the ferry at Manly i heard this ghost inside of my head whispering man this is a nice spot i want to stay here. I only had this one more time in my life back in the 80's on Maui. This is so far one of the nicest places i saw so far in my life. When i stood at the beach there was a Qantas A 380 climbing out into the sky really slowly with roaring engines. I will return to Sydney in 2023. It is such a nice place on earth.
Yeah I grew up in Dee Why from 1968 till 1989 many good times, yeah I remember having to walk across from manly warf to aquarium board walk it was dodgy back then huge storm broke it down I was happy as Larry. Manly I recall had 4 movie theatre the old fun pier later in 80s got water slides and roller skating rink. Many good eateries you could sit outside plus in 70s they had miniature animal themes on the beach
When I travel, I always go there. I love the beautiful beaches and the city, the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge that you can see when you are on the ferry. I can't wait to travel to Sydney
Spent 3 days in Manly at the beginning of April this year and it made me fall in love with Australia, amazing place so laidback so peaceful and the Q Station where we stayed is absolutely amazing! Hoping to be back.

I just booked a two-week stay, but the throngs of people are making me nervous. I lived in Manhattan and only saw crowds like that in Times Square. Is it always this busy?
