Hi Manny, thanks for sharing. You didn’t know at the time but you took a calculated risk, which didn’t pay off. You knew it was a possibility, what you hadn’t considered is what you do if your plans come unstuck. You also were unaware unlike now that you were enriched with family and friends who supported you, so you were never really alone. Practicing Mindfulness and talking to people can be powerful remedies and help people facing the black dog, I know I was one of them.
How to stop sorting and start living by Dale Carnegie helped me refocus, and to stop fretting over the small stuff. The book is dated but the principals and are ideas offered are applicable today
