I hope they add fishing with rods, and the ability to upgrade to nets and a small boat. Fishing in a river would be a good addition, or even coastal fishing.

Just thought I would mention, a HUGE reason to get the homeless camp upgraded right at the start is it allows the families to get their 3rd member (pretty much instantly). After finding this out I can't think of a single reason to not do it. This speeds everything up significantly.

I know how to fix your issue with trying to get granary workers to make market stalls. So for example, if you see someone in the logging camp with a food stall, instead of remove worker and add again later, click the logging camp, go to people, and reassign that family with the stall and move them directly to the granary , they will maintain it this way and be moved to the granary or storehouse

Hey man, picked up the game couple days ago, was struggling to keep my city fed and everyone happy but I had a crap ton of fuel because I built so many log camps lol, I made a bunch of mistakes but watching videos has helped me through! Great tips and content! Thanks

Love it. man. I was just working it out yesterday that an optimal build must be a NYC style city grid, so the houses have Max proximity to markets and church, etc, for 100%. In my current play I missed the window, but I'm going to try this on the 3rd region i go after. Thanks!

Okay. So hear me out ( and I apologize if anyone has already come to this). If a large granary has 8 workers and a large storehouse has 4 workers, then if you have a marketplace only for the granary/storehouse workers feeding the closest marketplace and then make sure you space marketplaces (and granaries/storehouses) in order to cover the nearest burgage plots to each marketplace. That way they don't necessarily overlap. The granary workers that are pulling the foods from the burgage plots are only supplying those same burgage plots (first) because those plots are the closest to that market place.

So I've seen 1 video where they turned the beginning camp into the Worker's Outpost. Yes. The approval rating stayed high until September -ish however, building the dual plots got you to 53% and 1 new family as August started. You had everyone in a house with room for another BEFORE MAY! lol I get that you can play however you want but I was getting the jist of the stream commentary and I just was like 😒 So I paid close attention to the stats as you went along. I build those plots as my starters as well and have zero issues with gaining population or the approval being a big deal to overcome. Again. It's a game. Play how YOU like. I'm here to just get ideas and occasionally learn something so I'll assume those on stream/now on YT, are doing the same. Why badger the player? 🤔 If anything, I learned that using those in settling a new region can be a great way to start there vs having to build houses right away. *wish I had known this when like a dumba$$, I settled in December! Vs waiting. Built the houses anyway and no 1 died. lol Eventually was a thriving town by 8 months. Oh. My only concern is how there is becoming a similarity to Farthest Frontier. I get it in some regards but please please PLEASE don't let it go that route. I'm happy markets and all don't have a "specified AOE" like Farthest Frontier so, I hope it stays that way. Cheers 🖖🏻

In real life, chickens produce an unbelievable amount of eggs..just as an example, the starting plots you had chickens on could produce upwards of 1600 eggs a year CONSERVITAVELY. So it seems as if they should massively buff the egg production. From my playthroughs, it seems like I have twice as many chicken plots as veggie plots and get maybe 10 percent the amount of eggs..

Thanks for the awesome video. Question, my trade post is on and connected to the Kings Road yet I get a pop up stating that it’s not. Is this a glitch? I don’t want it to mess up my trade obviously but it’s definitely connected so not sure if there’s something else I should do? Thanks.

Limit stalls or whack a mile till only granary workers own stalls - I typically move the market stall owners job to granary and it works most the time

Can you plant lines of trees aside the roads? You know, to make the roads look nicer and more green. I guess I saw a tree as option in accesories (just like shrine).

​@@TacticatGaming oh okay, I want to plant trees aside my main roads (two lines of roads plus lines of trees as pedestrian walk) but I'm too afraid it'll crash my saved game, since I already fortified two cities with walls 😅

Lol, Biffa has a video claiming to have built the "World's largest carrot plot veggie garden". Lol. I suppose with 2 fams you can plant down HUGE gardens and provide all that free food!

Must ask: Does a Huge home plot with veggie garden produce More food than a small plot just big enough for a tiny garden? Confirm: For space & population efficiency one giant garden > many smalls? Because we could easily feed our vill from the start with one big garden on one big house plot, right?

So this whole market stall assignment thing is doing my head in. However I did notice that at times when a food stall opens and it says that a charcoal maker/logging camp/etc was selling food, it was because that family is living in a duplex that has a farm in it and they are selling the veges/apples. The BUG is that garnaries and storehouses have tonnes of workers but they are all 'waiting'. The logistics chain is out of whack whereby suppliers aren't sending/giving their goods to storage as a priority, then those storage sites aren't the hub for market stalls.

@@TacticatGaming thank god. there's no way i can play this game and micro-managing EVERY stall all the time. Hopefully a patch comes soon and they unbuff the eggs as well. Great vid by the way, looking forward to the rest of the series.

i stoped playing after 20 hours. I really like this game. But the marketsystem is just straight up bad, annoying and probably bugged or poorly build. If the dev fixes that iam down to play more.

@@TacticatGaming Hey ^^ Not sure how you wanna do that. From my testing ( that is allmost all i did in the game ) the system seams broken. I have 4 families in my storehouse that is ONE roadtile away from my market. In that storehouse i have 400 firewood. its not broken all the time but they dont stock up to 50, only to 20 or so. Very often i dont have full coverage on that fuel and people get mad ( higher difficulty). on top of that, this whole " auto building for stands on the market" from the AI is another big problem. Why do woodcuter that i dont want to have a stand there make one? it becomes very ineffective. At some point (10 hours into a run, in allmost every building i had families that were havin a stand on the market. that means 33% of your labourforce is doing nothing. We need controll over that. Sliders and a "not allow building stands" option.

Theres no need for the trade post export to get money in normal dif tbh... Just rob the bandit camps, and you even dont need to fight them... you can "kite" them by outruning into the other lord army. Just get in there fast and grab the bandit camp for gold, easy. Hope they fix this "exploit" cause it makes money too easy to obtain (in normal ofc)

I have an issue. My game crashes often and in the error screen (UE4 CRASH) it says something with the trade post! Does someone have this issue too and knows maybe to solve this? I can't even load my game after the crashes...so annoying losing all my village after so many hours
