That was actually a pretty honest review, I was fully expecting this video be a commercial essentially trashing manscaped as any other ad would be. Solid review, I actually ended up buying a beard scape with zero blade using alpha m discount. And so far I love it.
Just discovered Brio after looking into the Manscaped 4.0 and I’m really interested in your product! When will the newest version of the Beardscape become available?
So far, the Brio Beardscape has been performing on par with several other blades i've tried that cost about the same price. I'm overall satisfied with the product. I definitely would recommend it over the manscaped 3.0 for pubic hair since i've tried both and the beardscape had performed much better. Not so sure about manscaped 4.0, but I assume they would both perform pretty similar.
Please add a 4mm guard to the new version. I spoke with Eric about this last week. This trimmer is THE BEST trimmer I've ever purchased and I've purchased a lot over the years, but it needs a 4mm guard. Please remind Eric about our conversation. Thanks!
The Beardscape V2 is the best beard trimmer on the market, and the customer service from the team at Brio is incredible! Great value and awesome battery life.
I have the V1. Can you please make a video discussing the best settings (rpm, blade length, etc) for using on public hair and other types of trimming. It’s confusing to know what settings to use. Also using some type of visual aid show the best angle to use the blade on face or pubic areas. Wish I had know the V2 was coming I like the upgrades for travel lock and showing the mm on digital screen.
One of the selling points for manscaped is that you need a separate groin trimmer to avoid infecting your face with groin bacteria and vice versa. So my question is about disinfection of beardscape. Is something like Cool Care or other blade enough? I also heard people dipping their clippers into alcohol for 20 seconds, but I am afraid this will hurt the lubrication.
We have talked to some dermatologists about this (maybe the next video topic!) and there is very little risk associated with transferring bacteria. Our skin is completely covered with bacteria and the VAST majority of it is helpful. If you want to sanitize the blade check out this video at the 1:40 mark. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XmfjkS7MPDY.html
There's a reason you have hair there... your body looses the most heat from that area, it helps you regulate your body temp. There was a study that was done about nude sleeping vs clothed. Nude sleeping was found to be better and the same study done 20 years later used a variable about body hair. Nude sleeping with natural body hair helps you sleep better. Just trim don't shave. Btw, induction charging is considered the biggest waste of energy in the modern world. The did a study about inductive charging and an iPhone 13 loses more energy in a year than leaving a modern led lightbulb on for a year.
FOR ALL THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS - every trimmer ever made will work just fine on your beard or your junk.... the trimmer is a tool... its the user of the tool thats the problem.
if you buy from uk.briopg.com/ you will get a version with a UK plug. Otherwise they all have a USB plug so you should be able to charge it anywhere if you have an adaptor for that country.
Most of this video is BS and irrelavent to me. I just want a good shaver that can shave my balls so they're nice and smooth and not a bloody mess. I'm also considering the Meridian Below-The-Belt-Trimmer which gets a lot of good reviews. So.......Lawnmower 4.0 or Brio or Meridian? This is a Brio video so I sort of know what to expect from the generator of this video. Maybe others who see this video and my comments can give me their opinion?
both are good, manscaped looks better. but both are good and manscaped cost more, if you are for the looks then it's manscaped, i got manscaped. it's not like one is complete shit and other is good. both are good. also brio found a way how to promote their product, they just pay to youtubers like manscaped, but not to promote their product but to compare and voila, brio better at everything, just slightly but better, except looks which is more important than some minor differences, the only huge difference is that manscaped is looks better BY A LOT.
What does it mean when the beardscape starts to rapidly decrease from around 160 to 170 minutes? I find it pretty annoying, I follow all the instructions as well. When I first got my beardscape I think it was already fully charged so I didn't charge it, I always use it at 5000 RPM as well. In all my time using it, its never told me to oil my blades or clean out the compartment. I have had this product since October. I think that my charge left on it is 180 minutes right now, is there somebody I can send a video of it too if I manage to catch it messing up again?
The minutes remaining depend on the speed setting its on. As long as the battery isn't draining really fast you should be good. If not, reach us at support@brio4life.com and we will take care of you.
How does the manscaped 4.0 work on facial hair? If it's just as good as the brio I'll get that. However, I am more inclined to get brio beardscape for both facial and down below.
@@ethanhayes312 I got the brio already. It cuts hair great on your head. It works on facial hair too but you don't get a super close shave. I kind of wished the instructions said when to use the guard
Hi Charles, you can slide the blade up to1 mm for the shortest setting or get the zero blade that cuts at .2 mm if you want to go super close. www.brio4life.com/collections/trimmer-accessories/products/beardscape-zero-blade
Could you explain what I would want to use any other speed besides high for? I just got a beardscape and all the videos I've seen use the highest speed
I like the lower speeds on sensitive skin, like my neck. The lower speed seems to be a bit easier on the skin and it makes the trimmer quieter. For short, thin or fine hair, the low speeds are good. For really thick hair the faster speeds work better.
Been using the Brio for about a year now and love it. No issues so far. I like the reversible guides but wish all four could fit into the carry case with the trimmer, But two is enough for my beard as I keep it quite short anyway. The Battery really does last a long time, It's kinda crazy how I have only charged it twice but used it so many times. The last Trimmer i previously was not fast enough and would tug my hair so I was looking for something fast with all the features i wanted. I think having an adjustable guide would have been a nice edition but the removable ones are fine. All in all i am super happy with it and glad i found this product. good price and works great.
Washing the blade washes away the oil ok but, what about the oil from body that will end up on the blade as you use it regularly? seems it would make a lot of sense to wash a blade with mild soap just to keep it clean from any nasty oils. this is the 1 part i disagree with beardscape but i will note that they got a 2 year warranty compared to manscaped 90 day which says a lot.
Washing the blade every few months is no problem. Feel free to use soap or a bleach solution. Once the blade is dry, it can be re-lubricated with the included mineral oil. What I would avoid is rinsing the blade after every use just to get the hair off. Its way easier/better to tap it in the sink or use a brush. hope this helps!
