If all these soldiers who fought in the 2WW and 1 WW for the peace and safety that America and all western countries are enjoying and died for knew what this generation would do with their hard fought victory they would have dropped their weapons and told the Germans to march right in.
I’ve lost friends and family in wars, and I’m disgusted by what is happening to the country I served 26 years in the Air Force to defend. God please help us. 🙏
In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. For Every Marine, Solider,Sailor and Airman, We miss you ..
This is the most wonderful musical prayer for all soldier in each side of the world...fallen and died in the name of freedom...each honor and glory for these man...
This song is for Westport High School alum Andre Latessa. The first casualty of the Viet Nam War from Westport, Mass. May he RIP with his Mom & Dad in Heaven!!!!
Take this moment to pray for all our American service men and women who gave their lives so that we may be free. God bless their lives, their sacrifices, and the families they left behind.
Daddy Was a Marine. 3rd Marine Division. Bougainville. Guam. Iwo Jima. This Mississippi boy had a friend from Massachusetts, named Mandeville. Funny. Daddy always said he was a Hero. When I called him to say that Daddy was gone now, but Home now, where no rockets fly or bullets wing, he said, "Your dad was a Hero!" I once saw a bumper sticker that said, If you can read this, thank a Teacher. If you're reading it in English, thank a Soldier. Daddy was always my Hero, and I was his "Darling Daughter"... to the day he left this life for the real one. I still miss you, Daddy. Semper Fi.
In yet a little while, those that are in the graves will hear the voice of the Son of God; and, in yet a little while, a new day will dawn. A new day will dawn, and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.
No country brings more dignity and precision to these ceremonies than America . Would that we did not need to do it so often....may we see true peace in our lifetime.
WE WILL STAND AND GUARD THOUGH THE ANGELS SLEEP… If those words do not make everyone feel sad, emotional and full of spiritual reverence watching & listening… then something is psychological wrong with them. Total love & respect to all our soldiers and brothers who have fallen in conflict in the Middle East and around the world in the last 120 years. 👍🏽🙏🏾😥💐🇺🇸🇬🇧
It brought me to tears almost seeing the one marine tap and hug the casket to say his own private goodbye to his fallen brother or sister that just was touching rest easy who ever you were thank for your service as well god bless our veterans they fought for us to keep the usa safe and its citizens
After watching this I can now fully understand why my mother has never attended funerals. Her father (my grandfather) died when she was 11. Msgt Paul C. Phillips USMC buried with full military honors at Ft. Rosencrans Januaary 1954.
My great uncle was in the Korean war when he was killed by hand grenade. So this is song is for Charles George. He was a PFC in the US Army. God bless America and military. "There is no greater love than this: that a person would lay down his life for the sake of his friends.” Honor is his reward for what he gave and what he gave was life to his fellow soldiers in exchange for his own. It is men like your great uncle which make me proud to call my homeland America. God Bless your Great Uncle Charles George.
It matters not who the individual Marine is laid to rest in this video in that all Marines are one Marine. Rest in Peace and the Grace of God support the family. Semper Fidelis!
That's been my favorite bible verse since I was 5, I am 31 now. I used to actually wish that my death would be for someone else. This song is great and fits the description. Love others as you love yourself.
There was nothing harder in this life and putting a Marine corps brother into the ground! It is something I had to do a couple of times! And it's a former combat veteran in Marine it was heartbreaking! It is something that I think about quite often especially when I'm sitting alone somewhere in a pub sipping on a whiskey! Thinking about those marines that I knew and served with that I laid to rest! ✝️✝️✝️ Semper fidelis Brothers I will join you someday! 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲 I always just asked nothing to do me a favor keep an eye on me while I'm still alive semper Fi my fellow Marines! And an early happy birthday to all of my Marine corps Brothers and sisters! What's a marine always a Marine! 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲✝️✝️✝️Donald P Kaeser United States Marine corps 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
Thank you sir, for you extended and devoted service to our troops ... As a former combat arms vet, I can only say "Amen" - I can only hope to hear this song as I am lowered into the trenches one last time... be it ever so bitter, death loses it's sting when you enter the mansions of the lord!
Thank you SO much...truly, truly beautiful!! I can't believe I'd never heard this song before. I'm in tears. Truth & hope beyond any other...the Resurrection Life of and in our Lord Jesus. And they are REAL...the Mansions of the Lord. ❤️🕊✝️🇺🇸🕊❤️
So many brave men and women made the ultimate sacrifice for their country. They always put country before themselves. I wish politicians would Realize the sacrifice they made. And quit messing with our democracy that they Loved.
While this tribute confirms the comfort of the departed it does nothing to address the anguish felt of those left behind. All school choirs should be required to know and sing this song.
This is a such a powerful video. I am a member of a small rural community chorus and would love to use the video as we perform Mansions of the Lord. How do I go about getting permission to legally do this? Thanks in advance.
If this is Arlington, it may be a "big wig" - I think "ordinary" veterans are buried in the columbarium rather than in the ground for space reasons (at least that's what I was told when my uncle was buried there in the 90s).
5.21.2024 Memorial Day is a federal holiday in the United States for honoring and mourning the U.S. military personnel who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. What not to do on Memorial Day? Don't wish anyone a “Happy Memorial Day” This is not Christmas - Memorial Day was not founded in joy with the promise of bringing glee each year. ... Don't thank the current troops. ... Don't disregard its importance. ... Don't forget it exists. ... Don't let politics keep you from rendering respect. // This day is our day of Remeberance for all of the men, women, young men who have gone before us in Battle to fight and keep Our Republic, the United States of America FREE from tyranny. To Aide all people around the globe to bring them Freedom and Liberty. Millions of our men and women in the military are gone now, who fought wars here and abroad. Let us never ever forget their sacrifices and what they fought for. "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends." (John 15:13) Memoria De valens vivat tamque vestri Requiescat in pace Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. +
Jim was speaking of those who take our freedom for little or nothing. Fortunately, the majority of us do not take those who gave their all non-chalantly. What price for freedom? There is no estimate that defines the price in a meaningful way. Was I offended or did it sound despicable to me? No. I spent my military time riding submarines. I spent a combined total of 1.5 years of my life underwater serving my country. Would I do it again if I could go back to those long ago days of my youth? Yes. Compared to the sacrifices that have been made, sometimes I feel guilty because I lived through it.
@@petehayes8779 Thanks for understanding I don't understand how one could think anything else about what I said,we have parts of this country that burn the flag, loath our military while at the same time enjoying the freedoms that their sacrifices have persevered .......I stand by my statement, the ungrateful of this country is not worthy or their sacrifices.
