I have noticed a distinct shortage of all three exocomp hostiles. I frequently have to clear out a handful of generic explorer hostiles to get the exocomps, so Marcus still works better than Kang in my circumstances.

Pro tip: If all you have is a low tier Mantis with barely any research done, and you DO have a g4 warship, crew Yuki(c) Five Khan and only hit Apex hostiles. You'll take home multiples of loot compared to what you would have gotten using a weak Mantis, and be able to run max batch mantis refines every cooldown. Experiment with different levels of hostiles until you find the system that yields best results. Eventually, your Mantis will power up to the appropriate tier for your ops level, and your mantis research will catch up, allowing you to use it for faster farming. It will still take home less loot per trip, though.

If your expo’s are going to expire, hit the one you need prior two expiration to limit the damage

More of an absentee option - I hit where I can max cargo without any isocomps - allows me to ignore mantis at times and come back without stress. Ship just lives in the system while I handle mining or even do work sometimes. Yes, I can hit higher, but a full pull is a full pull. - Tried it though, 5m for 104K v. 15m for 123K can clearly be worth it.

44 OC, T7+Gun Mantis, 10 lvl MW, 7 lvl MC. I use Kuron+4+Stone+Laan. Spent 15-20 min in 39 sys and 8-15 in 40h for collect my 142k Venon.

if you have a maxed Cargo Crew AND your Crit Damage lower than 200% => hit the Double Shot Exo first ; then Crit Chance ; then crit Damage

If you during a fight never run out of shield, does it matter if you start fighting a hostile while shield is 100% or 50%. Ive always wondered this when fighting any hostile. Many claims you take less dmg to hull if shield is 100% when you start the fight, but as i said if you never during the entire fight lose shield, does it matter ?

Just curious as i dont remember you saying, your impulse research is at lvl 2 for mantis from vid, what do you get from territory research?

Tried grinding actian for the 1st time since the apex broke months ago. On server 38 our lvl 38 system has a broken apex and all 3 exocomps don't spawn in the systems so it's still a waste of tokens and time. Considering the only real value is syndicate xp I'll be continuing to skip this grind

Is there a means of telling which one of the three exo buffs that any given hostile has without having to scan and look at their loot?

Are the exocomp really 5 min? Mine pass by more quickly, feel like 3 min instead when the icon would disappear and log will show loss of exo

No way I'm doing this + everything else there is to do on the daily. Y'all are crazy if you think this is ok. They should have 3x apex hostiles to make it at least manageable. My Mantis is tier 1 and it's staying that way until they make it easier.

our servers a bit cramped at 37 lvl reds but a lot easier than 1 apex

Unspoken, but I assume in doing this you are not getting full pulls of all items in the Mantis refinery? Also, only two apex per system in our server...

You should be hitting the 43s dj. You also didn't mention that you can keep your exos running to repair and return enabling punching up even more.

Making an entire video focusing on the quickest way to do something and barely scratching other ideas is at best going to give people an idea where to start. Wasting so much time on what the best officer is to put in a slot that you wouldn't bother with at all going one system lower feels like you're stretching to make something into "new content" over actually being helpful. Should have cut out a lot of the unnecessary officer discussion for a quick run through of easy adaptations for those who would rather take 10 minutes than 5 and get the most out of one of the most rewarding ships in the game. We already know grinding is a chore. Most people would rather do it so that it means something than sort of kind of get some of the things

I call BS!! You HAVE to be on a SCOPELY super secret propaganda server! There are NO Mantis systems on my server (26) that have 3 apexes and the only ones with 2 have one dead/stuck in the corner. Everytime you hit one, the second one will spawn AS FAR AS IS POSABLE AWAY FROM WHERE YOU ARE! Never does one spawn anywhere near you! (like your MAGICLY did in this video). I'm tier 6, ops 41, and all research is maxed out, I can get 1/2 a cargo hold and have to hit the buffed explores at least 4 times and I'm dead! BS!!!! I tried mantis systems 40, 39 38 and 37, no difference. The best crew is 5, 4, Kuron in 36 or 37 systems, I get 112K cargo in about 10 min - DON'T WAST YOUR TOKENS WITH THIS CRAP!
