He was second to none as finals MVP. They gave it to Leonard, but honestly, to me, Manu was more decisive and had a bigger impact every time he stepped into the court.
Kawhi was going off for 61% shooting, and was playing some of the best lockdown D. It was well deserved to him. But Manu played a key role on their bench.
@@Shinobi33 heat were definitely the better team but there's no denying Spurs were simply one free throw away or one rebound away from winning that series. It took Lebron 7 game series to beat the Spurs. That says a whole lot.
@betondo fukutu and the Heat capitalized and won that game. It was given to them. They cut a 5 point in like 30 seconds. That's almost impossible to do in a game of that magnitude. And then came back to beat in game 7. I mean damn what more could do? The Heat earned that title. The Spurs the next year. Plain and simple.
@@MrRockleyend Okey, I like Bird too and Michael and Magic. 😂 But people tend to forget Manus prime time. He was a beast. Not guardable. And then he won a Ring at 37 years old against Lebron Wade Bosh and Allen... As a theacher of basketball. 🤷🏻♂️I can put him in the Club of Best Players of All Time without blinking. 👍
He knew how good he was. I love the way he just go backwards to the half of the court and then make the run to attack the rim. Man got fire on his heart.
the best ever to step on the court, never afraid of a charge, nor worry about whose at the rim. official and efficient he owned his game like penmanship
I thought Rape shouldn't be uploaded in RU-vid??... FYI, Spurs still holds the biggest Finals margin victory in Nba History... Not even GSW Superteam can do that
Tomas de la Iglesia Ray Allen and Kyrie saved both of his game 7s. Don’t forget he went 0-5 in the final minutes of game 7 in 2016, until Kyrie made one of the greatest shots in NBA histortZ
Manu: for these moments you were hands down the best player on the court and I feel if he ever saw this he would feel my respect 😂 not even playing tho he clearly was the craftiest, most adult person on the floor and just out played everyone and I love it.
I was there at game 1 in balcony level section 201 row 11 seat 21 225 bucks it was my first finals & it was worth it looking back it this Manu should been fmvp
Bro.. this why I don't get why manu isn't in the greatest shooting guard convo. Plus why isn't the spurs talked about when beating a super team. Man I love my spurs. Can't wait to see what this year holds.
Cuz Greg popovich , Manu is in top ten SG of all time but could have been higher if he started for spurs . He was to nice and respected pop to much . They went ran offense through Tim Parker 1st unit and 2nd unite ran it with Manu . Thus giving Manu less minutes. But last 4min of game always gave it to Manu . He could have been doing that all game!!!
Manu, with his style of play, couldn't handle the big minutes. He played so hard he got himself hurt a lot. If Manu had played typical starters minutes his career would have several years shorter
RicardoAGuitar he could handle it if he stoped playing with his Argentina team from 2008 and on. His numbers would be really good if he played with Tim more in the pick in roll. Instead had to play with orbrto and Matt boner
Well, I'm sure they tried that and they almost lost Aldridge to a trade demand. Imagine having the two best players ask to be traded away?! ::cough::kawhi::cough Yikes!
Nice damn it boy Manu Ginobili you're the man you will be missed awesome I'm a Spurs fan and I want to say Tony Parker was great but I think Manu Ginobili got better then Tony Parker which does it matter they're in the same team love my Spurs but just talking about Ginobili and my boy I'm missing those days love my city love my Spurs thank you Spurs
7:30 Spurs up in game by two points. Manu quickly sets up (always 100%) like he does in every play. Slows the tempo and lets the heat set their feet. He then proceeds to take it all the way to the paint. Demonstrates COMPLETE control of the game there!
Spurs all time line up Oberto 4rt quarter line up Duncan robinson Kawhi duncan Green kawhi Parker ginobili Parker Bench: Robinson Diaw Bowen Belineli Ginobili Spliters Mills
This and 2011 finals matchup were against 2 very different teams. One being as flashy as it gets and individually talented roster while the other is all lowkey guys who play together well in a cohesive system
