Street photography is only one way to use a camera to create artistic work. Creativity is an adventure that allows us to explore paths in life that can enhance the joy we feel on a day to day basis; an appreciation of our city, architecture, the people who live in our cities, and the strong feelings of connection that we experience when we get out and, in our own way, make something special out of something so mundane - the streets.
Great video, I only got my first Camera an EOS 1300D in July 23. I took up photography due to a mental health breakdown and I have found it very therapeutic, The only thing is I now have 7 2 x35mm SLR's a 35mm Range Finder and a 120mm Zeiss Ikon Nettar. Alongside a Lumix FZ50 a TZ8 and I've just upgraded my 1300D to a 70D. Keep up the good work and happy New Year.
Happy New Year, to you, too! I think photography, of all kinds, is very relaxing for the mind. It helps us concentrate, which in itself is a form of relaxation. You seem to be going full on with building an arsenal of cameras - a good selection to experiment with. Thanks for the comment, and all the best for you, enjoy.
I came up on film with rangefinders and personally believe that digital cameras should be licensed and only issued to those that compete a course on exposure triangle, depth of field, zone focusing, etc. same for phone cameras. Seriously (maybe).😊
