Sublime playing. This is not how I'm used to hearing this piece, but much better. Your playing is clean, musical, calm and contemplative, not a note is wasted - usually this piece is rushed. I'm afraid I rushed through it, too, when I used to play it. Maybe I should find the score and return to it now :)
To me, this sonata always sounds like an adventure in sound-textures, tone-colors, a wondering into a pure sound jungle ... this slower reading is nice
Uros - agree with all the positive comments below. Your playing is extremely intelligent - great sound - superb musicianship - You deserve a LOT more views (but you'll get there). Thank you.
Hey Kevin, thank you! I'm not sure, I think they used an ORTF system by Schoeps but I had to do quite bit of tweaking to get it sound right. The hall sounds fabulous though!
I like his interpretation in general a lot accept the interpretation of the last movement. At the last movement I would prefer more often a warm tone especially at the beginning of the piece. The sharp tone is for me to harsh for this piece. And people if you like to hear a completely different and still beautiful interpretation of these pieces from the sonata Allegro moderato, Chanson, Allegro non troppo then check out Hedvika Švendovás interpretation
