Manx Grand Prix 2023 Day8: Mass Ride Out, Show & Shine, Spitfire and Charity Auction 

Enjoying these videos, glad I found the channel. We finally got back to the Isle of Man after 40 years, we used to holiday every summer in August for two weeks, had my birthday there too. We were there as the Manxman was going through final preparations before maiden voyage with paying passengers ( watched that video also😊 ) the magic is still there❤🇮🇲

It wasn’t a legacy lap…..it was to celebrate 100 years of the Manx Grand Prix , there was a group of marshals remembering a fellow marshal, lost at the southern 100 this year.👍

Only on the Isle of Man would the Governor ride the race course with everyone. I would love to ride around the course like that ... well maybe a tad faster but still. It is cool that they all wave to you. The range of bikes is awesome. There are antiques, expensive sport bikes, Honda Nighthawks, scooters and everything in between. So cool. Cool Hats too BTW!

The gentleman with Triumph triple replica looks to be on point to me as far as spectators. Almost the whole crowd was easily over 50 years old, from the pictures I saw in the 1970s event it was mostly under 50.

Well... im happy to say i have everything booked to go next year to the TT with some friends. Will be on my 50th anniversary and can't imagine a better present to myself. I will be looking around to shake your hand and thank you for these videos.

Getting about in this video frank,. That parade lap was neverending, only a few bikes that i would have chosen out of the lot of them tho,.Cbx honda 6, cb500 honda, yamaha tzr 3xv 250, yzf 750R, ducati panigale, sp1 honda,. Show & shine had some nice bikes to,i would have loved to have my Yamaha R7owo2 in the lineup, and my Yamaha tzr 250 rsp again only a few that i liked, mainly the yamaha 250,s ,. Lots of older generation there along with the old bikes, nostalgia is a great thing as is the spitfire, i,m surprised that the auction wasnt better attended or was it registered people only ?, you got 3 good bits of memrabealia tho,. anyway back to normality until TT time and thanks for all your time and videos,.

Ich bin seit 15 Jahren nicht mehr auf der Insel gewesen. Habe dort immer eine tolle Zeit auf dem Campingplatz in Laxey gehabt! Durch deine Videos habe ich wieder richtig Lust bekommen nächstes Jahr zur TT oder zum ManxGP zu kommen. Vielleicht sieht man sich! Mach weiter so und schöne Grüße aus dem Ruhrgebiet!
