The swing states is where the election is won or lost. Biden won 2020 by 7-8 million votes but won the decisive swing states by less than 80,000 votes. Biden could win nationally but still lose the electoral college just like Hillary Clinton in 2016.

Three local law enforcement agencies relaying reports between each other and up to their liasons who relays them to the secret service... that's a communication delay and a serious flaw in the coordination model. The secret service also delegates security of certain zones out to local law enforcement, and everyone is pointing fingers in a circle over who was responsible for that area. There NEEDS to be an investigation, but I think its a failure, not a plot.
