However, We have to give permission to users to access map network drive on Windows server 2019

Is there a way to map another user to that same drive that's in a different OU? I can't seem to do it, do I just simply add a new user into the security group? When I try that it doesn't seem to do it for one user and does for other users. I'm confused.

But this will allow the client to delete things from the drive, won’t it? What if I don't want them to delete files?

Windows Server 2019 that is in a Workgroup and Not a Domain, how in the world do you allow a local user to map a network drive from a network share on another server in the Worldgroup (Not domain)?
