They sound awesome very similar to a kit I kist bought a Sonor prolite kit. These also have that very thick warm rich tone with a wallop as well.

WTF?!?!?!?! These are amazing sounding drums….I’m pretty taken aback. Tonally they call to mind Simon Phillips’ tuning and sound. I’d never looked seriously at Mapex…I will now. Impressive
