It’s nice to see the Motocrossers adding in tech that has been in the auto tuning world for awhile now. I don’t think it will be long before the fly by wire throttle is adopted because with the direct injection it make more sense and easier to tune. More tuning options just makes better use of the tech they have already put on the bikes for a few years now. If you are going to pay more for all those features of a modern bike you might as well make the most out of it.
I've told people the ECU was the best mod I made to my 17 CRF450. Good stuff man, very informative. One thing, he did say "aftermarket ECU and high flowing exhaust." So is the dyno chart stock vs ECU AND exhaust?
Hello. very intersting Video,,im looking at buying a 2023 ktm 350sxf,getting a great deal on it,,but im a woods rider/racer,i do alot of singletrack harescrambles up here in New England(home of Ben Kelley,Josh Toth) sooo,im wondering if the Ecu could change the 350sxf into a woods weapon? eliminate most of the engine breaking and make it super smoothe?? thanks!
how would it work with the couplers, like on the Kawis, or the map switch for a Yamaha? If you get the ECU mapped, how would that effect the couplers if you wanted to change them? Would that override the ECU changes? what the changes to the ECU translate over to the couplers?
Michael what is the easiest way to remove a rear shock off a 2019 kx450? I really appreciate any feedback but I’m trying to have my suspension revalved and was hoping you have some advice thank you and keep up the awesome work!
I have a 2018 crf250r as well. I have the full yoshi system and vortex ecu in it. I'm running vortex's "standard" ecu map which is close to the stock honda map but vortex made it better. The difference is huge with these upgrades!! A lot more bottom end and pulls harder throughout the rpm's. I am going to get a custom tune on the vortex ecu in a bit and I know it will be even better than it is now.
@@joecarlino8279 I havent even got a custom tune on mine yet (heading down to cali in a bit so ill get it done there so I dont have to ship) But even with vortex's standard maps, the bike is heaps better! Most riders wouldn't even need to get a custom tune. Only reason why im getting a custom tune is because I bought the bike second hand and the custom maps he got put on are for different circumstances. The ECU's are amazing!
