Thank you for these series of troll trail videos. been wanting to ride it for a couple years now but I didnt know where to start. I will be avoiding the first leg as I know my abilities. 👍

Pretty sure they leave the trails off the map on purpose as someone who knows management at Hollister Hills. However, this is super helpful for those that want to know more, where as usually the only option to know these is to have someone show you out riding. Keep posting! I'll actually be riding Upper Troll tomorrow, along with many other sections.

OMG!! I have been creating an unmarkeg troll trail/single track map using a red pen on a paper map for a little while now. I try to update it whenever I visit

There is a nice loop entering near the intersections of Lake/Long Ridge and tt#2 with no signage. (I am unable to post a photo of my map on yt comments for some reason)

I think they call that baby troll? I just rode it for the first time last weekend. Really fun loop!

will it be easier if I go the opposite direction? those 2 rock ledges seem difficult.

Yes, a piece of cake except the end. I would recommend taking a look at the entry off Lake Rd first to make sure you are comfortable getting up that. It changes depending on erosion and use and could be challenging.

Doesn't seem upper troll has any intersection with lake rd, right? @@outonabikeride252
