In my opinion, the PM6007 has a more open sound with a slight emphasis on the highs. The 1200 sounds flatter

I think the NR1200 sounds darker and flatter, Personally I preferred the 6007 it sounded open, the sound stage through my JBL monitors on my pc at my end opened up on the 6007 with sound going back to front , just sounded like a flat wall of sound on the NR1200 in comparison. But both did a good job and sounded very good, and I think its just what you prefer rather than better or worse. Personally I would walk out of the shop with the 6007 tucked under my arm, (but being able to put the telly through NR1200 is a real plus though)

I prefer the NR1200, I believe that its more close to the Yamaha that you have. The PM6007 i don,t know, it just tooo open in my ignorant opinion.....

Had to come back listen again. Wondered if I'd made a mistake after watching your unboxing and yamaha comparison. The nr1200 just sounds muffled. 👍

NR1200 has a boost in the high frequency a little more then the 6007, the 6007 has more mids presence. Thanks 🙏

PM 6007 is always a better stereo amp , if compared to this features loaded NR1200 , depends pm 6007 is connected to which source , connect pm 6007 to wiim and u will notice a huge gap in terms of sound stage

In this case the difference in sound has to do with how you recorded it. Maybe a slight difference in distance or angle? Not the same sweet spot for sure. I hear an obvious difference in room acoustics, not in the sound of the device per se. The PM6007 sounds or is recorded more natural in this video.

I think your NR needs more time to break in. I didn't know why your NR and PM sound a little bit boomy on my Sony headphone. Oberon 5 didn't sound like that.

The 6007 would probably sound a little better but I don't think it would be a night and day difference.

Pm amp plays more better. I have nr1509 receiver and im not realy happy with sound. As i see integrated amp is for music. Av reveiver is more for movies

For just stereo sound it would be a toss up between the pm6007 and S501. The 501 has a bit more power, so I would probably choose the 501.

I think when I made this video I was using amazon basics interconnects and generic 12 gauge OFC cable. Now I'm using WBC interconnects and WBC 9 gauge OFC cable.

Если микрофон использовался один и тот же, то PM 6007 явно выигрывает в звуке, что лишний раз подтверждает правило, усилитель всегда музыкальнее, чем ресиверы и другие "сборные солянки".

PM 6007 is way clearer than the NR1200. Way clearer and the soundstage is simply way better because the NR1200 DOES NOT HAVE A SOUNDSTAHE AT ALL!!! From a musical point of view, NR1200 is a disaster.
