I have the 36mm, 41mm, and 46mm SAR watches. These are some of my favorite watches....particularly the 46mm JSAR (Jumbo SAR). Fantastic to wear, and mine is the kind of hard to find YAMAM Israeli Special Forces watch. Day wheel is English and Hebrew. l love these watches.

Your watch definitely does sound cool and unique. I have never seen a Hebrew Daye wheel before. I have seen French, Spanish, Kanji, German, and I think also Arabic.

This is the most well done helpful video on this watch that I've seen. Great camera work and angles. Nice comparison side by side to the SKX. And finally, someone agrees with me on the pressed clasp. I think they're comfortable. Thanks for the presentation. Have wanted to buy one for years but hesitant due to the flat case on my small 6.5 wrist. Maybe someday.

Thank you very much. I appreciate the feedback. My wrist is 6.5" as well, and the thickness is a bit too much for me on this watch.

A cool and very no-nonsense watch. For some reason i think i'd prefer the 36mm, even though i have bigger than usual wrists. Considered picking one up, but so many cool watches out there and not a proportionate amount of money to spend on them lol. Btw i think the 26 millicurries refer to the radioactivity of the tritium.
@WrongTimeWatch
@WrongTimeWatch 3 года назад
I think it is too thick for a 36 mm diameter watch. It is almost half as thick as thr diameter at 36 mm. Still a cool watch though.
@AnCar88
@AnCar88 3 года назад
@@WrongTimeWatch Yeah 13mm+ on a 36 is a bit much indeed. One of the main reasons i decided not to get a SAR watch, despite liking pretty much everything else about them, was the fact that they look much thicker than they actually are. I don't know what is going on with me though, the more watches I experience the more i am drawn to the 39mm and below range, despite having 7.75' wrists. Would still (hopefully soon) totally make an exception for a Speedy :)

Perhaps, I am going to the used market, even though I want the new one, but it is out of my price range for now.

polished side of seiko skx makes an illusion of "not so thick."

Yes, also the curves of the case. I prefer this case over the slab sided watches.

I'm french so please forgive my english/american already. Here in this country Marathon watches are banned because of the tritium gas tubes. It's a shame because I would have liked to have one! But maybe the law on this subject has changed...
@WrongTimeWatch
@WrongTimeWatch Год назад
The amount of radiation given off by the Tritium tunes is very small. Fortunately these watches are legal to own in the USA. France seems ro know a lot about radiation though. I believe they have the most nuclear energy.

Yes, and another paradox, we had Marie Curie, this is the reason for the mention: "26 millicuries" on the caseback.

the 12 o'clock on the GSAR is not tritium. It is lum

@vmanrn2906
@vmanrn2906 2 года назад
Not correct. The triangle is lumen but not the 12’o clock marking. You can actually clearly see it in this video, because the lumen was visible with his setup but not the trilium.

Tiger ~ Very difficult to bond tritium to the the 12 o'clock triangle. Tritium only comes in tiny tubes.

@@WrongTimeWatch then you don't know about value of money if you say that imo. Imagine a day where suddenly income is hard to earn or lost, and it can happen to anyone. Would money be of concern? Are you going to be buying watches or are you going to be considering that money valuable for realistic life necessities?
