What type of games are you into? Which Bungie titles have you played? How retro do you like games?

There is a fan made port of Pathways Into Darkness for aleph one. It's a simple puzzle style fps with rpg elements. Bungies first fps and first success really. It's pretty short and simple. Fairly retro though

Myth the Fallen Lords and Myth 2 Soulblighter are absolutely fantastic real time strategy games. No base building. You just get some units and go fight. There is literally no games like it just about. Fantastic story too. It's a diamond in the rough.

I haven't played Oni yet but it looks like a fun game. I'll probably do it once I finish this Marathon series.

And then there is obviously Halo which I'm sure I don't need to explain that one.

There are three betas on the Marathon cds in a hidden folder. Off the top of my head I don't know which one is the Jan 94 beta.

I guess I don't know all of the slave references in Quake. I do think I remember killing civilians in the Quake sequals, if that's what you are referring to.

@@Jeoku Had to stop what I was doing for an hour and try to get some Quake-lore straight, and it might not be in the manual that people are turned into slaves, rather captured or killed. But I vividly remember humans in Quake 2 crawling in line for punishment, groveling in front of Strogg gunners et.c, and in Quake 4 you're about to be turned into a Strogg-soldier to fight fellow men. But from what I gather, the main goal of the Strogg is to invade and harvest. Maybe there's a capable Jeoku-clone out there focusing on iD-games(like it's Opposite Day, or something) who can help me out? :D
