One thing I didn't mention that I should have is that if you got the invincibility powerup in the last mission then you could more easily run by the two traps at the beginning to get to the shield recharge station.
Even though I enjoyed Halo: CE's later take on the outlandish purple alien space ship interiors, I think their greater need to come off as semi-realistic lost of some the bizarre charm that Marathon's take presented.
Really impressive watching this level on Total Carnage, the enclosed spaces and high enemy count makes it seem like it would be really difficult but you made it look easy, nice work.
Thanks! And I didn't even use the cheaper strats I could have used that I discussed at the end. The next level is much harder so we will see how I get through that one
Great video! I think the reason why the hunters are stuck has to do with pathfinding AI. The monsters need at least two, preferably three polygons to be able to traverse in order to move and attack correctly. But all the hunters that are stuck seem to be on just one polygon with no way to move off it.
Guess that wasp hole is Bungie trolling the player. Way back in Never Burn Money you're conditioned to open little cupboards for ammo and floppy discs. But this is the pfhor ship. What would they be putting inside the little shelf in the room where you just found ammo lying around... more ammo? Nah, it's a bug closet.
