Todays video is just a bit of an update really with how my training has been going since my first major injury back in late October. Touch wood, I'm now out the other side and looking forward to the next 12 weeks of marathon training. Dropping a like and subscribe as always is much appreciated.

My title suggestion: Marathøn Comeback Project. I‘m impressed how quick fit runners are able to bounce back from injury compared to beginners. Will be cool to see your progression after the injury. The worst days are over. Everything will be better from here on.

Great to see you back! I myself keep on encountering injuries. Few weeks before my first marathon (September last year). No running for six weeks after. Then really slow build up and now reinjured…. So no running again for me for next few months. Feeling very sad now. Hope you stay healthy and smash it in the next 12 weeks!

I couldn’t be happier for you that you’re back to full health and you’re on the road back to full fitness. Also, happy that you’re racing Copenhagen. I’ll be there too. It will be my first marathon since 2007 when I ran Chicago. I chose Copenhagen because of you and Phily Bowden. You both inspired me to choose Copenhagen. So cheers and good luck. Hope it all goes well this weekend! All very relatable for me, broke my 5th metatarsal on Boxing Day and got my first run in 7 weeks done this week and now I’m back in pain. Had qualified good for age for London but now going to have to give it a miss. Keeping the fitness up on the cross trainer but really missing the running. Mentally very tough but hoping to be back in training in a few weeks time. Good luck mate.

yeah, that drop in confidence after injury is sometimes glossed over. You want to run again, but just don't know if your body will hold up and how hard are you allowed to push anyway? Gradual build up is the way I guess. As for the series name, I really like the Danish Dream, but will also suggest 'Conquering Copenhagen', about the journey from injury to crushing your PB, which you will totally achieve!

I feel you. I’ve had 2 stress fractures in my foot and the return is hard, especially the mental part. Have you considered working with a dietitian? Bone turnover is extremely negatively impacted by low energy availability and more specific by low carbohydrate availability, even if overall calories are met. My own injuries „inspired“ me to write my bachelor thesis about this very topic.
