Great work... where did you get that wonderfully looking mask at the one-minute mark? It is so annoying to have glasses fog up because of air escaping the nose and mouth mask.

Athar looks good, seams like I need to buy those extra instruments for measuring. And hey there must be a great white sharks jaw in your university you could borrow, a piece like that would take delicacy and precision..do it up

Measuring instruments are a great help and never enough! Will look into the shark jaws but I am planning more massive designs for my next couple of sculptures.

Very cool! What was the mat that you put the stone on when you started? Is that something that you use to cushion it when working with smaller pieces of marble?

Yes, it's a leather cushion that prevent the piece from moving when carving.

Never carved Obisidian so I can't really tell. But I know it's much harder than marble and it breaks like glass. I imagine it would be quite tricky.

Not really. It’s just one sculpture inspired by one skeletal element. More are planned to come, but not enough to complete a full skeleton.
