I think this is proof of the strangle hold that the media holds over music. Marc Broussard is so damn good it's hard to believe sometimes. Why the hell is it that I knew who f'n Katey Perry was before this guy?!?! Not fair! I would take the worst of Marc Broussard over the best of what's on the radio any day!
I heard this for the first time today in my car on Sirius/XM. I had to pull off the road to make a note of this guy in my phone. D@mn, he's good! I wish I heard about him long before today.
That's the way I discovered his music also. I've been a huge fan of Amos Lee for years and own every CD. I can see myself being a Marc Broussard fan for many more years to come.

Totally! It's like he thinks he has to look rough to match his music or something, but when he's all cleaned up, he sure is pretty!! At least we have video from those days, lol!

Saw Marc @ GretnaFest this past weekend. Great show. Seek Marc out if you can see him live. He and his band will not disappoint. Saw them @ Seafood fest, missed them in Houma, and then at GretnaFest. Since I've been away from La. (note small 'a') for 30 years, and just moved back, this song has a special meaning. Really pleased to see he played KFOG.
My Marc Broussard moment. Ya, that first time. Was listening to the Amos Lee channel on Last.fm while doing chores and this song came on. It was like a shot of Southern Comfort, a hot breeze on a cold day. Had to get myself more of this! My sweetie got me two CDs of Marc's for Christmas then we went to a live concert in Cambridge MA this spring. So much talent so little chance of finding him. Tell everyone you know. He has talent! Keep writing and singing, Marc!
This was the first song I heard of his, then Immediately got his Carcencro & Momentary Setback Albums. I Love his voice and no matter what mood I'm in, It just works. I would love to turn on the radio and hear him all the time. Wish he would come to Ohio!
Just heard " Hurricane Heart " on the way home!! The sad part.... Didn't have a clue to who was " Taken my Ears HOME " came straight Home to find out who the Artist " with a gift from Above " was. Amazing Voice.....
Had a chance to hear Marc on a radio talk show. Dude is SO genuine and he is talented. This recording is awesome simply in the fact it is well done LIVE.
Marc is really good on he albums, but he's soo damn good live it's unbelievable sometimes. He should be a superstar by now. Keep doin you Marc, Even if you gotta win em over one and two at a time. Damn! This was good.
He's a buddy of mine and I've seen him play about 20 times and he's, by far, one of the best live singers ever. Lucky enough to see Adele at 9:30 Club and she's the only person who is better live. That's saying a lot.
I practice my vocals every day and guess what I do? I try to mimic this guy. I sing with all of his material, especially this video. This guy does it right. Damn
