She’s not saying certain bags make her a boss. She’s just saying she has preferences when she does and doesn’t carry a certain bag. I run my family’s business and I would absolutely carry the Marc Jacobs bag to an important meeting. However, that is just my preference.

The magnet on the outside loop holds the end of the zipper extension. It sticks between the loop and the outside loop of the bag. It’s a really cool feature! It makes the bag look neat. The ends go in, like the OTG mm. I like them best with an organizer in it to hold the structure. I like to get a really cool cross body strap for these bags. People frequently add a colored acrylic chain.

I love MJ! The leather quality is phenomenal. As you said its not a boss bag but very casual - great on those low key days when you want to carry a laptop or traveling. The Coach Rogue 39 is also a very nice high quality boss bag. I like the Rogue 39 from the Mint x Serf collection

I didn’t know I’d find a Coach fan on this channel. It just so basic but I ❤️ them! Nothing beats a Rouge- When it comes to an everyday bag. But I feel a little snobby when I rock my basquait so I have a customized 10. Coach is top in the everyday bag. But the Speedy is gaining on me.

Welcome to the world of Marc Jacobs. The red crossbody is a reissue bag him. He has been doing bags for many years. The tote is more of a new bag for him. Yes the larger totes are for carrying many items. The mini is more an everyday bag. I have the red tote and love it. Red is my favorite color. I also have some of the LV bags that Marc Jacobs did with LV. Yes, the leather is pliable so the sides can pull out. I hear some people say the strip on the side is for a water bottle, but I don’t see it. I would wear both bags with sneakers. I wear my Alma with sneakers and some of my Chanel’s. That’s just me.

That will loop on the outside of the bag where it has the magnet It is supposed to hold the tab from the zipper in place you just slide it there and that tab magnetizes to the inside of that loop. It just keeps it neatly in place

Hi 👋🏾 y’all - I completely understand what you are saying. In my opinion (and this is just my opinion) brands like Marc Jacobs, Coach, Dooney & Burke, Michael Kors and others are luxury brands, but are not considered high end luxury bags. That is for brands like: Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Fendi, Christian Dior, Celine, Tods and others - so I completely understand what you are saying and agree 1,000% 😂!! I can’t wait to purchase my first high end luxury bag (hopefully that will happen before this year ends) but until then, love the Marc Jacobs Tote bag - it is a beauty!!! ❤😍😍

I agree about the MJ bags. But, the cost is a tenth of LV and Fendi bags. I think the tote bags are great, but I definitely feel like they are more on the casual side.

You are right. You don’t really need the MJ tote bag since you have LV OTG and Fendi tote bags. The lavender one is alright for you to have since you don’t have anything like it in your collection and it’s a cute casual everyday bag.

Marquita, girl, you have great taste and your husband has great taste! The first Marc Jacobs The Tote Bags I saw were the canvas ones and I didn’t care for them; when I saw other ladies I follow pick up the leather ones, I fell in love with them. I have never seen the color you picked out before (I haven’t seen any in person), I love it, love it, love it. And the lavender one your hubby picked for you (and the crossbody) are totally you. I’m new to the luxury handbags (I have only Dooney & Bourke bags), I can definitely afford the Marc Jacobs the Tote Bag. Hopefully, I’ll be able to afford an LV like your navy tote you picked as your Bag-of-the-Day. She is gorgeous and you totally slayed with it, your shoes and your outfit. Boss Lady to the max!!! 👌🏾

I also have the argan oil and regal orchid in the mini totes though. I also have Blue Sea and the beige color all in mini leather. After a while the leather on the bag will relax and the sides will not stick out like your brand new bag is showing. The Marc Jacob;s Leather Totes become soft and smushy after continuous wear. I just love them, great selection of colors you have,. TFS!

We are bag twins! Those are the two MJ Totes color & size that I have. I dress very casual so it’s perfect for my every day bag. Of course I have many other actual luxury bags but these fit perfectly in my dressing room. Congrats on your purchases!

I have The Tote and love it but it can get heavy. It's a great work and travel bag like you mentioned also. I like to take it to places when I want a downplayed bag instead of my On the Go LV bag. The leather on The Tote is awesome and very durable as well.

I love both tote bags especially the lavender. I purchased the Marc Jacobs tote bag in the color blue denim in the small size a while ago and I love it. The small size tote is extremely roomy and I use a bag organizer to hold the structure. I generally receive lots of compliments when I take my tote shopping with me. 👜

The outside strap is for the zipper. The zipper has a magnet on the end of it that attaches to the strap on the outside.

The loop on the nd with the magnet is to hold the zipper after you zip it up. You tuck the zipper and the magnet keeps it on place

Love the lavender color ! I’m not into MJ myself , but not everyone likes everything . What is the purpose of the strap on tne side ? Trying to figure out what it’s used for . You are so right about the difference between the OTG and tne tote bag . One is boss one is a tote but each have their place and can be enjoyed. I have been thinking lately about leaving LV because of the $ increases and other issues ,but when you see the two brands compared LV stands out , above and beyond . Thank you for the visual lesson it really opened my eyes .

You can put the zipper on the outside and the magnet would hold it in place. Also if you attach the strap backwards it won’t pull the sides out.

The MJ Totes are perfect throw around bags. I have no remorse sitting them on the floor? Or putting my lunch in them or taking them to the park. I have 2 small and 1 large for travel. My LV bags get much more TLC but I like them.

Love the Marc Jacobs totes...I have the black and red mini....these bags look so cute when you dress them up with a chain,bandeau, or even a guitar strap....I found a beautiful print guitar strap with the colors red/black/white that I use with my red bag and and another print for my black one....I just think the leather strap that comes with it should be wider....please do not put a water bottle on the loop....the magnet on the loop attaches to the magnet on the zipper tail......these bags come in so many color waves and sell out so fast....the red mini was in notify me status when I ordered earlier this year and back in stock 2 months later...enjoy your bags Queen.....no judging here.

It was refreshing to see the authentic MJ tote..I see the dupes daily in Metro Atlanta..I like it when the totes have feet..😄🤩 The differenation is the spelled out label versus the creed symbols..I am not impressed with the Telfar , the price doesn't justify..🙄

MJ is not a luxury product. MJ’s tote is City Girl Bag. It’s popular where he is from NYC. The bag is supposed to be Unisex. I like it because it’s durable and if I need to put on the floor…I can just wipe it down and keep it moving! Love the show!
