Veil of Maya has established one of the most unique sounds within their genre of music; nobody can deny that. Mark is such a badass song writer in my opinion.

I love watching Marc talk about Mark the Lines, you can really tell how proud he is of that song. Their best track IMO.

It’s crazy going back to this video after so many years. Some of Marc’s riffs from Common Mans Collapse and [id] are still some of my favorite riffs of all time

Muscle Memory is a real thing! Kiddos, practice makes perfect, and once you get a riff or a beat or whatever in your hands, it's there! Enjoy it!

Marc is completely right about the breakdowns at 1:33 . Ask me to play one of the faster break downs from my band at a moments notice and I would need a moment. Playing it with the whole band and head banging a but to keep the time makes it all come together.

I love his tone... it's something different and awesome and is a big part of the sound of veil imo.

@5:00 he said "yeah our basist has a 7 string bass lol". thats more strings than the guitarist has lol

These breakdowns are so freakin hard to get a grip on. There seems to be no logical explanation to the different rhythms used at first sight.. love this man though and am seeing them this autumn!

Saw them in Tempe last night, some serious business behind his playing. Love the way he "thinks" with his playing also, I seem to do that also.

The new riff he plays sounds like the same riff he plays on divide paths

probably one of the most under rated guitar players in the world.

Watching Mark play always brilliantly highlights to me how weak my knowledge is around chord shapes... and how slow my playing is...

probably the best tone achieved for the genre.

Man, I think it's great what he is saying at around 6:50. I can totaly understand what he means. Don't you have such song or records that remaind you of a certain time in your life? Some records are my favorite, not because the nesessarily that great, but because they "take me back in time" :)
