like keenan said defense exist but they are bad , the dude pute zero pressure on the kimure stay on his back and didnt move with the kimura trap you stay sideways you follow him and you slow him down with the kimura when he turns
@@copyninja8756 Marcelo was doing Jiu-Jitsu all day when he was in his teens. He lived in the academy and cleaned the floors instead of paying for classes. He was in the kids class and adults class also, practicing against all different body types, different weights, etc. I think that's how he learned, so well, what works against another body. He had ALOT of experience.
Thank you!! Nate Morrison gets the kimura trap on me ALL THE TIME lol... i've been trying to strip the hand grip but next time i'm going to work this move. Thank you!!!
Far be it for me to criticize Marcelo, but I'd like to see how he escapes a proper sumi gaeshi to KT. I struggle to call this a KT with the amount of space and arm extension the uke is allowing.
Or if he turns into you and is on all fours, as long as ur elbow is below and inside his elbow, u can throw him on his back again(just watched a Danaher dvd about this)
Shane Manske point taken. But the set ups were different for the kimura from Keenan vs jacare. This counter seems to be geared more toward the kimura trap Keenan used
@@tajm5006 I gotcha. My point is that there are thousands and thousands of hours Marcelo has rolled. Only a fraction of this is on youtube, so it's pointless to just go off of what we've seen
Peso...
