Maybe a higher sun angle in March plus longer days, and the closeness of Spring

Remember when the sun falls, there is no heat being projected onto the surface of the earth

No?? 9,941 in fahrenheit and 28 in the ground air temperature . Unless if you were talking about the angle of the sun then probably yes...
