I finally had an opportunity to head out to the usual CSX Mohawk Sub after some really cold January and February weather (I also had to get over a cough for two weeks). The train action pattern that Sunday was the morning wave, a slow down in the middle of the day, and picking back up in the evening. At the end, I was glad to be able to stay for a special train, rare these days, an empty crude oil train (B118) with a BNSF leader on the point, and with a rare breed of horn, the RS3L . Overall, I really enjoyed the day.
