Trooper's Report: While on patrol I, Sgt. Nicholas K. Brown was advised by the Troop A Communications Center of a black female driving a black Chevrolet Traverse on Interstate 40 East near Dave Ward. According to witnesses, the driver later identified as Kristina Teague, was traveling at a high rate of speed and waving a black handgun out of the driver's window. Soon thereafter I observed a vehicle matching the description traveling at a high rate of speed on Interstate 40 East at the 135 mile marker. Due to the manner of driving I activated my lights and siren in an attempt to stop the vehicle. I also gave the Troop A Communications Center the license plate number and they advised that was in fact the vehicle that the witnesses described prior. Initially, Ms. Teague began to slow but then accelerated to over 100 mph. There was no doubt that Ms. Teague knew that I was behind her due to the close proximity of my patrol car to hers with all emergency equipment activated. Shortly thereafter I moved into a position to T.V.I. the vehicle. As I matched the speed and touched the rear right of V1 with the front left of my unit Ms. Teague applied her brakes abruptly. This disrupted the effectiveness of the maneuver temporarily. Ms. Teague once again accelerated and once again I attempted a T.V.I. As before Ms. Teague applied the brakes abruptly, this time stopping in the middle lane of Interstate 40 East. Ms. Teague voluntarily exited V1 immediately while I began to give her commands to walk backward toward me from a felony takedown position. Ms. Teague would not comply with my commands to walk backward which forced me to break cover and approach her. Ms. Teague was placed into custody without further incident. Upon a search incident to arrest I located a black Bersa .380 handgun in the driver's floorboard of V1. This handgun matched the description of the weapon that the witnesses previously described. Ms. Teague was subsequently booked into the Faulkner County Detention Center and charged with the below: 5-54-125(d)(2)2023 Fleeing - Vehicle or Conveyance - Exceeding the Speed Limit 27-50-302(a)(2) Reckless Driving 27-22-104(a)(2) No Proof of Insurance
@@SplashJohnunfortunately if the witness doesn't step forward to provide a statement and testify, which is likely what she didn't do. Then they can't charge her
I understand she wanted to stop fleeing after the "love tap" from the trooper, but the level of stupidity for this woman to stop in the center lane of I40 must be a record.
Just goes to show she has no respect whatsoever for the precious gift of life. All troopers should take a lesson from the Sgt. and refuse to talk to these scum.
How brain dead do you have to be to stop right in the middle of two lanes on the freeway? And look at all the rubberneckers on the westbound side slowing down to gawk.
That is 3 lane there. But still pretty stupid. It is a thousand wonders she and the trooper didn’t get ran over the way people drive on it. I dive that stretch of I-40 almost everyday.
It's all about them, they don't consider anyone else, ever, so stopping in the middle of an interstate isn't an issue. To her, others using the road are inconsequential, of no importance at all. Sadly, when society finally disintegrates (it's well on the way now), people with this mindset will cope far better than the rest.
@@GuardianW1 Nothing "stopped" her from moving off of the highway, and on to the shoulder in the first place. That became the real danger to the other drivers.
Letting her have a gun in the first place wasn't that intelligent either. But you don't have to have the intelligence, competence or ability to control your emotions to own a weapon, you just need the right to do so. I'm all for 2nd amendment rights, but FFS there has to be a standard of competence in there somewhere.
Not understanding the command 'walk backwards' is a really good indicator of why she thinks waving a handgun while driving is alright! The intellect of a tick.
By telling her he wasn't going to talk to her, he spared himself the usual laundry list of health complaints and recent procedures she's had done, not being comfortable, wanting her mom, calling her lawyer, arguing about whether she did anything wrong,, needing a drink, having to go to the bathroom, I want my phone and my purse etc. Wish more LEOs would adopt this approach. Great job, safe outcome.
I'm pretty sure it's starting to catch on in the state of Arkansas with most of the police departments. I myself actually enjoy listening to their bug eyed, hair ball excuses, that is half the fun of these videos.
@@GuardianW1 You can't be for real right now. Stopping in the middle of an interstate is a good way to be the meat between TWO, 80,000 lb steel semi truck slices of bread. . .
It is legal to carry a gun in Arkansas (open carry State). I don't think the Trooper saw it. So, unless someone wants to press charges for assault, I don't think the prosecutor will accept that charge.
@@PolicePursuits I hear you but I, as a concealed carry person, think there is a slight nuance between 'carrying' and 'waving it while driving'. She isn't using it as a weight to do exercise. She must be threatening somebody. I could be wrong. Wouldn't be the first time and probably not the last! 🙄🤦♂🤣🤣
@@dougt5357 It's definitely a crime, but it requires a witness to press charges, and the Trooper wasn't a witness to this. The 911 caller could press charges, but even then in a court of law it would be a bit of a challenge to make that charge stick unless the caller was recording it on their phone. Prosecutors will usually only accept charges they can win in court, and even though the perp probably was waving her gun around, that charge would be hard to make stick.
@@PolicePursuitsmost states call it menacing, but “Under Arizona's Threatening or Intimidating Statute, it's a crime to threaten or intimidate violence .” All they would need is witness’ testimony. Not sure why they didn’t charge that way, maybe other things were needed.
Imagine that, when she finally stops...it's in the middle of the road. Just another example of privilege and disregard for everyone around her. This mentality is taught and displayed daily by those you can't talk about or criticize.
@@MF-dl3rs have you not seen spirit airlines videos where the same folks act up and fail to get off the plane...forcing the whole plane to deboard. Or the dine and dash videos? Or videos in stores where they demolish the displays when caught with unpaid merchandise? Same folks, same reactions. The mental instability is protected by the type of privileges that are protected.
I don’t believe it’s privilege. I think the eord needed here is entitlement. This is what the generation coming up has learned by removing incentives to try harder and no consequences for failure and just rewarding participation. You end up with a human who has no respect for life and no concept of what it takes to better yourself in the real world.
@@theSkavenger84 You are assuming that he meant it was hard. Not once did he say that nor do I see him even inferring that. He could mean that they just don't give a care about compliance and keep all of their time and money versus doing what responsible people do.
to get a "licence" in the US must be easier than getting "insurance" or "registration" and silly stuff like that...the same applies to "getting" hold of a gun of any sort.
According to a Google search and her LinkedIn page, she works for the Arkansas Division of Workforce Services. Wonder how long she gets to keep her government job and all its wonderful perks. She probably can't follow simple directions on the job either.
Other than running a red light back in 2013, Kristina Rene Teague has had no other tickets or violations. Kinda surprised she didn't catch a gun charge.
Unfortunately I believe the police needed an eye witness, they might not have had one who seen her, or she might not have been directly threatening any one person in particular. Every state has different laws, if she doesn't have any priors all she'll get is maybe a few days in county jail, a suspended license, one really expensive ticket, court fines, maybe probation and astronomical insurance cost (not like that would matter much to someone who drives without insurance anyway).
For those asking, the little doggie went with the tow truck driver (Steve's Auto in Conway). They will typically hang on to non-aggressive dog for a couple of days.
Thank you for including the Trooper's Report. It helps me to enjoy the videos because I'm informed as to what has and is occurring! I do appreciate the report very much.
Is there some sort of secret ratchet contest to see who can out-stupid the rest? She gets points in several categories. I’ve noticed suddenly in 2024 they can’t seem to understand simple commands pertaining to direction. Forward, backward, left, right, up down are all suddenly foreign concepts.
Probably not for her being an idiot and stopping ON the freeway but her waving a firearm around absolutely. Could be anywhere from menacing to aggravated assault to reckless endangerment.

You missing it, walk backwards to me is plain simple English, that's like a second foreign language to the ebonics speakers. Now what the officer should have said was "U's wazzt bacards ta me's, k"
Only takes one lolly-gagger to make all the rest of us follow suit. If you knew the spot it would be very curious to see one vehicle in the center lane of 3 with just one State Trooper behind them, blocking all traffic in that direction. That would suggest a gunpoint standoff, and if you've watched many of these videos, there would be at least a dozen units on the scene.
It was a legally owned gun. The person who claimed she was waving it didn't stop to press charges. She will get it back too - fleeing isn't a felony that affects gun rights.
@@joegreene6250 yes, you do. Just like your car and everything else you have taken that isn't "evidence." Its actually a part of the constitution. Why are people on the other side of the interstate that's not affected by this traffic stop slowing down to almost a crawl probably causing all kinds of accidents behind them from people that aren't expecting traffic to come to a stop for absolutely no reason??? There's rubbernecking and then there's pure stupidity and ignorance.
Now that right at the 4 minute mark! A Cop that has situational awareness, get the driver, move the cars, let the traffic get back to moving! Good Job, Nick!
What and why in the hell did she think she was doing? Love that the Trooper didn’t let her talk. I’m all for lateral transfers for the Arkansas troopers to become Texas troopers! That’s where our Rangers come up from.
Arkansas is a permitless state for handguns; has been since 2013. You can get an enhanced concealed carry permit in order to take a handgun onto e.g. a school campus, but if you're not in a protected location it is not necessary to have a permit to conceal a handgun on your person or in your vehicle.
I want to applaud this officer for clearing the interstate after getting her in custody instead of shutting everything down because this idiot stopped in the middle of the road.
She thought that she was full of that "black privilege" she's been hearing so much about on CNN. Stopped right in the middle of the interstate. The entitlement is strong with this one.
Waves a gun in public? On an Interstate hwy? Speeds in excess of 100 mph? Stops in the center lane of I-40? Can't seem to grasp the meaning of walk backwards .... Intellectual just oozes from their every fiber. Seriously, how do such people function in every day life? Or do they?

She basically continued terrorizing other motorists by continuing to make everything about her by stopping all the traffic because she stopped in the middle of the highway. The entitlement is off the charts with this one.....
