First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy in a television interview. The first she granted since becoming first lady. The commentator Sander Vanocur sitting beside Mrs. Kennedy by the fireplace in the green room in the White House.
Kathi Papaleo who is the murderer? Not Lee Harvey Oswald but Jackie Lee Bouvier.. Who is already dating Aristotle Onassis before the assassination and eventually married Aristotle Onassis a drug runner for the CIA the same CIA she worked for which is the Catholic church in Rome and her good old friend George de mohrenschildt knows all about it... Connelly and her took out Fitzgerald in the limo it's in the Zapruder film frame 326
@@werightnow ummm no she suffered from ptsd and extreme depression after the assassination, why would she have these if she wanted him to be killed all along?
I think the best word to describe her is enchanting. She was absolutely mesmerizing, the way she carried herself, the way she spoke. Truly incredible lady.
Olga Almeida she is not in chanting she is a psychopath who murdered the leader of a Nation on behalf of her handlers in the Central Intelligence Agency and headquarters back in Rome where she was trained as a little girl...... You know nothing about these idols on television that are brought to you on red carpets by the elite
Men learning to play the role of women try harder than women themselves. That is presumably one of the attractions the elites have with transgenders going back the centuries. Jackie O played the role well.
There's a precision to her answers which is quite endearing. Remember, she was all of 32 years old when this footage was filmed. How many other people can claim to be so collected and knowledgable at that young age! And she also keeps up an air of cheer and good will which is engaging and charming. An amazing woman.
Yes Jackie was young here but you have to remember that at that time age 32, you would have been married 10 years already, as Jackie herself was almost. Jackie certainly came prepared and studied up on her answers, though endearing, yes..she knew how to evade answers too negatively, but always end any slight complaint with a very positive ending. You can see when Jackie is nervous as she blinks often, but quickly regains control. Comments on her voice are funny bc Jackie did this on purpose and measured her responses equally and evenly. She was well aware of any talk about her in the media being... too grand or posh. So she showed herself eager to please, but sure to state she was still learning and didn't know everything. As she knew she had to be relatable and or something women would aspire to be like. She was after all..to the manor born, so to speak, with finishing schools in Switzerland and a very upbringing with all possible opportunities available, even the "required learning" by her mother's insistence that a wealthy background offers...and that most could only dream of. She had the confidence in her but was careful not to over do it and be unreal to women but also be the dedicated wife and mother that men would desire for their own lives too. Very 'politically correct' but also sweet and showing just enough vulnerability. Good for her...she really did have it tough as a child, and through the formative years that even wealth could not make easier. It forced Jackie to be quietly still and quite strong inside. Almost to a point of a form of a survival mode. We know how it ended. I don't think anyone ought to judge another's journey, unless it was a shared one. Thanks Helmer..I've watched this a few times now. Thank you🙏🏻✨🙏🏻
Well stated but sadly in the end it is all an act and nothing but a show. Nothing is real. The truth about First Ladies is that the most important thing they can to is leave their husbands alone while they are having sex with other women and let the President attain an orgasm without listening at the door, the wall or planting a bug. J.F.K. had many women which was encouraged by Joseph P. Kennedy Sr. He felt it would relax his sons and they could perform their remunerative responsibilities better. All of the Kennedy men had sex with as many women as possible. The wives must have worried about venereal diseases. That is stressful and for the wives, quite disgusting! In a family of pigs, phonies and social climbers. Jackie did the best at social climbing. Revered women of high social classes are just high class hookers. Their husbands are shallow, greedy, machiavellian pigs.@@Gigi1111Layna
She is the most prettiest of first lady's elegant reserved soft spoken genuine good person friendly loving aura surrounds her and a good mother i would have loved to have meet her and still #1 first Lady in my book
She was who she was. She hid her 3 pack a day cigarette habit to keep her image up. Who really knows what she was inside. Did she stop to give homeless people something or even talk to them? I don't know. She was trained to keep a classy image. We are all only just people, a minute from disaster. Ask her. But she had the looks and class to get Onassis for the gold. @@franbrochu4844
LeahBandB she has bipolar disorder she was also trained by the CIA before being arranged to meet John Fitzgerald Kennedy to be his Handler and watch lady and eventually the Assassin
she is out of this world. She makes me proud to be a woman. Her politeness, the way she express herself - no wonder the president of France was in awe to be in her presence. I cannot understand how her husband could cheat on her.
His cheating had nothing to do with her. Some people just cheat……wouldn’t matter who they are married to. They just like the thrill. It’s a character flaw.
Your comment about Mrs. Kennedy making you "...proud to be a woman" reminded of what I read in a book of letters sent to Mrs. Kennedy after the President's death. Actress Shelley Winters wrote to the First Lady, encouraging her to continue being a patroness of the arts and ended the letter saying that she hoped to meet in person "...the woman who makes me proud to be one".
@@Booklivre Jackie was far prettier than Monroe. How Jack was even able to think about other women while married to her is strange to me. If I was married to Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy, I'd probably be so mesmerized, so entranced, so completely hypnotized, so utterly under her spell, I'm not sure I'd even be able to remember Marylin Monroe's name, much less have any kind of affair with her.
@@fredjohnson9833 You either need to have your head examined ( most probably ) Or have your eyes fixed ( least likely ) Jackie was considered an elegant lady But she was never considered a breathtaking beauty Least of all by the man who was married to her And yet he slept with ( allegedly ) more than 1600 women ! Do you know if Marilyn’s husbands ever slept with other women while they were married to her !?! Naaah I didn’t think so
I came here after hearing Natalie Portman's atrocious accent while playing Jackie in a teaser for the new biopic about her. I am dumbfounded. She actually does have that stepford, quiet, not quite a person on the inside type of voice. I stand corrected Natalie. You nailed the weirdness perfectly.
Ian Luman wow I agree with you 100% I saw the actress on HBO and thought to myself as they were commending her she sounded horrible to me. like you I immediately looked on yt and it's Jackie that sounds trained and unnatural.
Agreed but it was not considered weird in that era. It wasn't a phenomenon that she created in a void. Television was new and seeing the president and the first lady speak was fairly new too certainly in the setting of the White House. There was an expectation that famous people and broadcasters ought annunciate in a deliberate and measured manner - i.e. not very natural. Their natural selves were to be kept to themselves thank you.
This was her natural voice and accent, all you haters. Listen to her cousin Edie Bouvier Beale in "Grey Gardens", their voices and accents are exactly the same. Hate the woman all you like, but her accent was not phony.
..yes.. she does sound exactly like Little Edie.. God bless them.. I think the only difference is that Edie had much shorter apron strings.. Grey Gardens is heartbreaking but beautiful at the same time 😔
she is such a gentle and sweet lady. My heart breaks for her everytime I see or hear about her. The sorrow she had to go through is so unbearable. she was a living angel and she is now an angel for all of us.
It doesn't really matter about all the negative comments it's par for the course. Jackie is just beautiful, smart. Classic and intelligent. What an incredible woman with incredible responsibility as the First Lady. I hope that I can be as poised as she is under this kind of interview, it's an incredible talent to hold yourself together under such pressure. Bravo Jackie would have loved to be one of the lucky ones that knew you personally. 💕💋
Nikol Johnson Jackie Onassis was the killer of John F Kennedy I know it sounds taboo but watch the Zapruder film yourself frame 326 she pulls out the gun and does the deed. Break your idoltry worshipping. Google Search Donald Trump blood related to Hillary Clinton and then Google search Barack Obama cousin of George Bush and Barack Obama cousin of Dick Cheney for starters
The Jackie "voice" was the whispery tone that "ladies of breeding" affected in the early 1960's. Yes it was fake but it was required in public. Ask your grandmother.
I read it was her attempt to sound seductive bc she was British. also she was CIA agent. I'm not 100% on that boat but I'm not denying the possibilities.
Her only connection to 'French' ancestry was from one great grandparent who was French making her 1/8 French. Her grandparents on both sides of were Irish/English descent and her mother and father were both born in America.
Yes, the best transgender in the White House. Michelle Obama is too obviously a transgender, but fortunately the media is owned by the Democrats and speak of Michael Obama kindly.
A true example of class, elegance, and intelligence. She will always be in a league of her own. I appreciate that she respects the history of the White House and encourages others to do the same.
I am watching the "Jackie" movie now, and I came here to see how well Natalie matched her voice and she NAILED it! You can tell that she really researched her voice and mannerisms and everything! But she sounded just like her! She still totally should have won the Oscar for her performance...She was absolutely amazing and she is so underrated as an actress...
Our former First Lady Jacqueline Lee Bouvier Kennedy was so knowledgeable of American history! She did so much to restore the White House. What a beautiful, charming and blessed woman she was.
Never has there been or will there be a First Lady of such fine taste, refinement, and grace. She totally changed the hideous decor of the 1950s Truman White House. Unfortunately, most of her fine interiors have been undone. She changed not only the interior, but the taste of protocol and music, etc.
Chris Allen The bad post-war taste with which the WH was decorated in the 1950s, was that of Mamie Eisenhower, who had ordered furniture from the Altman's catalogue. Altman's was a fine, respectable, middle class department store, solid but not fine. Mrs K did a fine job, reminding folks the WH needed a facelift. Truman had organised the restoration and preservation of the building, the exterior walls. Mrs K did the interiors and Mrs Reagan bought and left behind the most ahistorical, gaudy, tasteless china pattern possible.
I remember taking a tour of the White House when I was 10 or 11, and thinking it was beautiful. Through her efforts, many of the pieces that had once belonged to other presidents in other times, were donated and returned to the White House, making it very much like the house seen today. It was warm and welcoming, with the fireplaces going in many rooms, and as she had hoped, fresh flowers in many places. It was amazing to a little girl to know that she was looking at a chair, or book, or table that had once belonged to President Washington, or Dolly Madison. Her vision of the White House as the People's house, and a living museum made history come alive for me.
So sad all the idiotic comments here. Jackie did her homework. She knew a lot about History, Art, Literature. It's a pity all these low lifes, full of hatred, are allowed to comment on her.
Firstly Lasty your comment was unnecessary. The women in our society need more class and elegance more than ever. if you don't agree then you haven't been paying attention.
@@gissellept yes she did actually in an interview she was actually frightened to go into the White House she knew her husband had many affairs but she never spoke about the affairs and continued to love him sadly he died when he was actually starting to treat her better and more like his wife kinda deal
Jackie didn't send her children to a kindergarten as she said she did in this video. She arranged for a kindergarten school to be held in the White House and invited the children of other high profile to attend.
Actually, Jackie did not say that she sent Caroline to a kindergarten in this video. What she said was that she was not looking forward to the time that Caroline would be old enough to have to go to school, because of all of the publicity. This interview was very early on in the Kennedy administration, and obviously before Jackie made the decision to create a school at the White House. Also, the children of high profile people were not the only children who attended the WH school. Gustavo Paredes, son of Jackies’s personnel assistant, Providencia ”Provi” Paredes, attended the school. Provi and Jackie were very close, and Gustavo was friends with Caroline and John, Jr. Provi and Gustavo can be seen in family photos taken at the Kennedy’s Christmas celebration in Palm Beach in 1962. There are also videos online of Gustavo playing with all of the Kennedy children at Hyannis Port - and pictures of Gustavo and John, Jr. when they were both grown. Provi and Gustavo remained friends with Jackie, Caroline and John Jr. until Jackies’s passing in 1994. After JFK’s death, Jackie provided for Gustavo’s education. Jackie also made provisions for Provi her will.
Besides the accent being required for women of her class at the time, please keep in mind how young she was here: only 32 years old! And she executed an excellent White House makeover that turned the People's House into precisely that, a place filled with furnishings and art from the various presidencies. This became a TV special, as you may know. Jackie was a woman of her time, and as such, she should not be judged by today's standards. No one from the past really should be. Instead, we should look at Jackie within context, and in so doing, we can see that she was really quite something. She didn't come up with a slogan, and then pretend to fulfill it: "just say no;" "keep moving;" etc. Instead, she had a particular skill, and she used it. Something actually got done. Also, she cleverly---and at only 35 years of age--- burned her husband into the country's soul. JFK's funeral was her doing, and she had the smarts to reenact the Lincoln funeral. I was only 6 years old at the time, and I will never forget it. No one who was alive at that time will.
Sandra Lavini oddly you used the word executed in your statement when in fact it was Jackie Lee Bouvier who executed John in the limo on behalf of the Jesuits who control Rome and the Vatican Temple which finances all world wars and hides the natural shape of Earth which is horizontal circular
@@werightnow I been seeing you saying that she killed John even though I dont believe she did but I am interested in this theory is there any video or some kinda of article that has some evidence about this?
Could she be anymore perfect!? I mean wow! Eerily perfect in a way. But enchanting. So enchanting, so graceful, so soft spoken and poised. I'm in love.
LOL--love the way she pronounces beautiful as "boo-ti-ful". Say what you like about the lady, but she held the country together at the time of her husband's assassination through her sheer will. She set an example for a generation--noble in her grief and possessive of an iron resolve to protect and defend her husband's legacy.
My goodness, I love her voice. It was so soothing, and captures your attention so easily. I can listen to her interviews all day, very easy on the ears.
@@kme321 that's not what Jacqueline Kennedy's bone structure is telling me it's not even what his voice is telling me. Jacqueline Kennedy has male bone structure. Just out of curiosity what about Michelle Obama do you think Michelle Obama is transgender? I asked you this because I want to make sure you're open to evidence and not just somebody who's going to be in denial no matter what I say.
@@jansixhoax Just because You are confused about Your gender, doesn’t mean that Anyone who has an Athletic Build shares that confusion. JACKIE and MICHELLE shared the same fitness philosophy. Everyone Knows that, partly because of how her Father suffered and died, MICHELLE is also heavily into Physical Fitness and Healthy Eating. Jackie O. She was the Killer in the limousine while all the distractions were occurring at the parade... She was a stand-in psycho Stepford Wife and a Handler to keep an eye on things
She was so knowledgeable about the history of the White House, and the U.S. That, plus her natural grace and beauty makes her one of my favorite first ladies, along with Eleanor Roosevelt.
I love how she controlled the atmosphere of the interview with her soft, breathy voice, her historical knowledge(no airheads allowed), adoring comments about her husband and children, and her quiet elegance.
When most people say something like "one should apply oneself, " or some such, I'm like "stop being so pretentious. " When Jaqueline Beauvoir Kennedy says something like that (or anything really) I stare at the screen, completely mesmerized, helpless to resist her charm and elegance, not caring what she's saying, but thoroughly enjoying every word of it. Her voice, her poise, her smile, she was truly a powerful sorceress, effortlessly casting a powerful, irresistible hypnotic spell so potent it still has the effect of rendering many people completely beholden to the Elegant Grace of Jaqueline Beauvoir Kennedy, unable to resist, completely under her spell.
Came here to listen to her voice, I've seen so many pictures of her coz my mother adored her and she's in her 60s... Jackie sounds exactly how she looks, like singing/storytelling. Probably from speech training, like they do with old Hollywood films, they inject an accent notable for actors.
cant wait to see Natalie Portman play her in the upcoming "Jackie"about her the week after kennedys death. in the clip they put out from the movie she nailed the voice
Elegant, stylish, intelligent and classy, a good wife and mother....that's what made her unique among all of the First Ladies! It's difficult to compare her to anyone else....before or since.
I've never see anyone ever match her class, manners, grace and dignity. She was Brilliant too! Every woman wanted to be like her, and every man wanted to marry a girl like her
Nataliee said herself this role was the most challenging but was so honored to play such an iconic woman and she wanted to get the role down packed so she spent months studying her and even took this interview as guidance to who she was.
When she was the First Lady I was still a child but I do remember her so well, a true lady of her time, with elegance, style and such beautiful manners in speech and upholding her husband, you can see the love in her eyes when spoke about Jack! We need more women like her in our society.
@@kdtennis1 She gave her a break. Under Greek Law at the time, she was entitled to a minimum of 50% of her husband’s estate; which was worth more than 10 times what she settled for. A greedy woman would have fought for that. Jealousy of the Dead is not a good look.🙄
Miguel Silva I'm sorry you watch that retarded film created by the synagogue of Satan which is Hollywood using Israeli Natalie Portman to portray Jesuit CIA puppet Jackie Lee Bouvier the killer of John F Kennedy
lino Bonnichi they are all actresses it doesn't matter who they are they serve Rome which has us all enslaved by our tax ID number and our belief systems and ideologies. Jackie Lee Bouvier shot John F Kennedy in the limousine not Lee Harvey Oswald the friend of the family of the Kennedys and George de mohrenschildt who is a friend of Jackie Lee Bouvier's mother. The conspiracy theory is that the Cubans or the mafia or the grassy knoll shooter or the railway shooter or The Book Depository shooter did the crime. When all the witnesses who are murdered new the shot came from point-blank range in the limousine
No way! Lady Bird Johnson or Eleanor Roosevelt accomplished so much more. What did Jacqueline Kennedy do? She redecorated her house. Not much in the way of humanitarianism.
I love Jackie Kennedy. What a smart sophisticated beautiful charming woman she was. As a 12 year old girl I remember watching her walk behind her husbands' coffin. And her young son saluting it as it went by. She held a stunned and heartbroken nation together with her strength and grace. She was only 33 years old at the time. She'd been through so much in those few days. Thank you Jackie. You made us proud! And I thought Natalie Portman did an amazing job...
Why are people in this comment section so mad about Jackie’s voice, it’s nothing wrong with it she’s just using the Trans Atlantic accent like almost everyone used the voice back in the 40s to 60s
I came after watching Natalie Portman's "Jackie", My god, that girl is one of the greatest actresses i've ever seen. Her accent is exactly the same, her voice tone, the rythm.
she was a unique treasure with austere charm that would have warmed Camelot. a grace, poise, struck in beauty. the unbearable pain and suffering that she would later endure no one could have imagined. further defining what an incredible person she was and so very Loved. in godspeed
Good questions. I think she was nervous in this interview. She was talking slow because she's trying to really measure her words. She is definitely not a slow person.
