Going to my first sealed draft ever tonight. Any tips on physically organizing the cards? Should I just pick the cards I like and work backwards? Don’t want to be caught without enough time trying to organize everything into color and then mana
Build your deck around two colors if you are relatively new to the game. While you are building don't be afraid to ask for help .the magic community is filled with cool people. Also your going to naturally want to fill your deck with spells, go for creatures first and build around your mana curve worry about your spells after synergies
Exactly what Matthew said two colors stick to the mechanics that you feel most comfortable with, always be willing to ask questions. I don’t read the cards until after I get them sorted. I rip all the packs open right away sort to colors then work my way down from. This way you can see what colors you have the most to work with. Creatures pack the most punch in a sealed game as direct damage gets the job done the fastest. Add spells to accelerate the win not be the cause of it. Sealed games are normally quick so don’t be afraid to swing early, you’ll want to naturally build up a wall of protection but while you’re building so is your opponent. This is the time to learn. Every game you play aim to learn one new thing and you’ll get it down quick! I hope you have fun tonight! 😁
The magic number is 25 non lands and 15 lands to start and refine from there. I know I recorded that part so if I accidentally cut that it I apologize 😬
