March's huge DVD haul 

I adore your collection, sir. I have thousands if my own but I enjoy hearing from collectors who aren't collecting just to collect, but to watch and enjoy. Very refreshing.

Love going to a new town and hunting for DVDs in their charity shops. Do exactly the same thing with ones I dont want to keep. Much prefer the charities make some money off of them.

Love Twin Peaks. Started a re watch over a year ago but set it aside and need to get back.

Too bad DVDs aren't universal...with technology, you'd think the could get over it...CDs are...always fun to see what gets added to your collection...what % of your collection do you think is Brit, US and foreign...nice to see you out of the house...will we see more Brit landscape and flea markets...

Some of those movies are very good ... they can be found online (one way or another) but it's nice to have a physical copy of your own. .... quite a lot of crummy films in there also ... but that's the game of collecting.

Good video. I liked your quick take on the DVD's you bought. Gosh I must have over 300 DVD's and blu-rays. All my favorites. Mostly classics. Glad to see someone else still buying and watching DVD's. I'm the only one in my family aside from my older brother (60) who even owns a DVD/blu-ray player. My friends no longer have them either.

Im starting to buy DVDs and Blurays again and haven't looked back. I have loads of DVDs and Blurays, but I had to get more.

Loved the book of Captain Corelli's Mandolin, haven't seen the film. I see you got Jackie Brown. It's one of my favourite Tarantino films.

I HAVEN'T been to a car boot in years!! but when i do go to any, I always go cd hunting..... 'Gosford Park' I still could watch but as you said, some films I liked in 1980's/90's, I do struggle to watch these days .i;ve been watching here on You tube, really bad B movies from 1930's -1960's, some are so bad that they are actually quite good & many i;ve not heard of them before

I love Peter Sellers' Panther series. My sister and I would wait for each one to com eout and make an evening of it. Gosford Park had great acting.It was Julian Fellowes' foray into the genre before Downton Abbey. We would have kept the Laurel and Hardy, in fact, we have a number of them. My favorites of the list are : Edward Scissorhands, Backdraft,Catch Me if You Can, The Pianis, Deadpool, Murder on the Orient Express, Robinhood. Sme are ones I would like to see. Some, we just have different tastes. FIY, Elizabethtown was filmed in Elizabthtown,but Elizabthtown is not a small town at all. It's a small city and until recently was the biggest city near Fort Knox. The small town around it (Radcliff) has really built up and the borders between the two towns are blurred to a big place. We are also big-time spenders! We seldom spend over $1, (.79 GBP).

Pink Panther collection is fantastic!! Hilarious movies. My personal favorite is Pink Panther Strikes Again partly due to being in a high school play version of it. I was Shork the gardener lol.

The Sandscratcher: Too bad you didn't get The Little Shop of Horrors 1960 (the one with Jack Nicholson), and Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves 1991 (there is a special cameo at the tail end of this one). 2001 A Space Odyssey is great, and so is Backdraft. Black Swan sounds interesting.

I bought a piece of second hand furniture and the lady gave me 4 dvds for free and another ther charity shop has hundreds of dvds at 10 for a pound! Its crazy how many hours of entertainment you can get for a pound lol

I noticed Soldier Blue in your list. It was quite shocking at the time. I don't think I could watch it again because of the graphic scenes but I remember it being a good film. As a 15 year old back in 1970, it caused me to question the history we are taught (which was the point of the film, I think). I am envious of your amazing bargains!

Love Laurel and Hardy, that would be a keeper for me. Small Soldiers is a great family film (bought the digital copy from the iTunes Store). Thanks for sharing your purchases. How about a favourite film for each decade? Would be hard to pick just one I’m guessing.
