Great young interviewer , good vibes, good questions… Marcus, God bless him, is very comfortable in his own skin and a very chill and wise cat, it seems.. but it takes a good interviewer who is “ with it” enough to bring out the best response in an artist being interviewed.. … so respect to this young man; I am enjoying this interview a lot. 62’ Strat checked on an airplane!?👀that sounds Really stressful! For what a guitar like that is worth, my man gotta start buying it it’s own seat on the plane. Lotta guys/ girls learn the hard way.. it oughtta be considered a carry-on , but what’s fair about the world anymore!? not a lot. You don’t gotta tour with guitars worth more than your car.. leave ‘ em at home and buy a couple more “ disposable” guitars, innit. Just sayin’.. …bad idea touring with an irreplaceable guitar- you just can’t trust people like that, unfortunately.

@@mattamagiera they sure are, i saw them for the first time last year in Leeds I was amazed it wasn't sold out, it was without doubt one of the best concerts I've ever seen Marcus and the entire band were 🔥 Going to see them again in Birmingham later this year

Ive been a fan of Marcus’ since 2015, i saw him play a show in LA. Although we’ve never met, I feel like were friends. He will be remembered as on of the great artists of our time.

His truthful writing is appealing to us fans. So far the songs are amazing off Mood Swings. I have been following Marcus for 5 years. His evolution is amazing. He keeps getting better lyrics, vocals and arrangements. I am thrilled I have tickets to two shows this year. Love Marcus and his talent.

I admit, I have written mean comments about Marcus before online and I apologize. The comments came from a place of love and a place of selfishness. Marcus is one of my favorite artists ever and I saw him at his best and I saw him at his worst. I wanted him to fit into a box of what I thought he should be and when he wasn’t I sought confirmation from others online through comments. This interview proved why I love you so much and I’m sorry for not considering how it might affect you. Keep making music for yourself Marcus and I hope you find happiness. The rest will follow.
