I've visited Albuquerque my whole life, but now that my daughter lives there, it's been so fun for me to check out all these restaurants. We've been to Frontier many times, and had a Dog House chile dog. 🤤Of course, Blake's is all over the state and I've enjoyed their green chile cheeseburgers since I was a kid. I haven't been to Garcia's yet. I'll have to make it a point next time I'm in town. The restaurant I was hoping to show that had the 2 hour wait was Sadie's.
@@marcyinspired1442 oh yeah. Definitely when you go back there show the restaurants. I grew up here in the valley but previous generations are from NM. Dog house. They’re all hooked on it. Great channel. Keep it up. 👍🏻
Thank you for showing the Bosque and the tumble weeds! It was fun for me to see it again since I don't live in NM anymore. I moved to NC when I was 40 and it's been about 20 years since I've been back. Nice reminders. Your back yard is an oasis! Beautiful! Love your channel!
That's funny that you enjoyed the tumbleweeds! Every place has something that makes it unique. I've never made it to North Carolina, only South Carolina, but I loved it. So much history, great BBQ, and SO green! Thanks for watching!
What a great share. Beautiful backyard. Loved your daughter and her puppy singing along with her; too funny. You are keeping very busy. Looking forward to your next video.
Gorgeous back yard! I love your videos. You are aware of matching the color tones of your clothes with your surroundings, too! You are a humble, beautiful woman & it’s a joy to watch a female who is feminine in manners & dress, & fun! God bless you! Great job on your filming & content. Your videos are “polished” LOL! 😊
Enjoyed your video. Love your backyard. I admire that you don’t allow the inclement weather to keep you home. I find that the older I get, the more fearful I am of driving in the rain, let alone hail and sleet. It was fun to watch the tumbleweeds; I lived in west Texas as a child, and remember the tumbleweeds, so it was a treat to see and hear your description of them tumbling across your path.
I get it. I think we just appreciate life more as we get older, and we know how quickly it can be taken away. I definitely enjoy road trips, I just don't like city driving as much, especially if I'm not familiar with the area. With each trip, the confidence grows. And I do a lot of praying when I'm behind the wheel. Glad you enjoyed the tumbleweeds. I never seemed to be recording when the majority of them would roll by.
So beautiful and thanks for the reminder we all need some tranquility and what a connection her and cilantro have that's awesome and proud of you both and blessings as you both continue your journeys. Many Blessings 💕
Thanks! When we moved to this house, I came sight unseen. My husband did the house hunting and I just had to trust him. When I got here, I loved the house, but cried when I saw the backyard. Now, it's my favorite place.
Oh my goodness, your backyard is absolutely amazing! It's like a little slice of paradise 😍😍😍. Thank you Marcy for sharing I love this video and all your videos they're the best on RU-vid , wow your daughter singing super cool, and her dog is adorable ~ cilantro that’s such a cute name 😀👍🏻
Thanks! My daughter is my pride & joy, and of course, I love Cilantro, too. It's just a little slice of everyday life. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the comment.
Thank you for sharing your blessings with us, Marcy. What a wonderfully beautiful garden and landscape you have. It's like your very own little piece of heaven. And off key or not, it's heartwarming to see how happy Cilantro is to add in her very own unique talent 😊. I look forward to watching your videos every week, you never miss a beat, and I ohhhhh so love the recipes that you make. It reminds me of my mom's cooking. Thank you once again, Marcy. Take care, be blessed, and please continue to be a blessing to us🙏🏼🫶🏼🙌🏼
What a sweet comment! Thank you so much for the encouragement. I know these Bonus Videos aren't for everyone, but it's a great way for me to connect, more personally, with those who do watch. I'm happy my cooking reminds you of your mom's. That's as high of a compliment I can get. Moms cook with love, and that's something not easily duplicated in a restaurant. Thanks again.
@marcyinspired1442 I'm so sorry, I made a correction on Cilantro. Either way, she's beautiful and evidently loves music, which is so neat 🤗😎. Stay Blessed Always 🙌🏼
Beautiful backyard! your daughter sings wonderfiul and the dog does too. You and your daughter made good memories. May God bless you and your family. From Grants New Mexico USA
Funny, I am literally out in my backyard cleaning up and planting my garden. My oldest son is 25 and wants to have his wedding in my backyard so I really need to get it ready. Your daughter is so talented and fearless! Love your bonus videos, keep them coming!
Oh, wow! A wedding in your backyard sounds SO beautiful and special! I would roll up my sleeves and come help you, if I could. I, seriously, can't help myself. I went over to my mom's recently and was helping her give her cat & dog a bath (Yes, the cat, too!) outside in a tina. Next thing you know, I'm pulling weeds and spent about 5 hours doing yardwork until the sun went down!
You have a beautiful back yard❤. You are correct your daughter has an awesome voice even with Cilantra harmonizing 😅. Thanks for sharing I have missed your videos.❤ Those tumble weeds reminds me of my time in New Mexico both living there a frequent visits.
Ohh I Love Yout Bonus Videos.. This one was so Special .. what a Gorgeous Backyard. I Love it. And Thank You for sharing time with Your Beautiful Daughter. I haven't seen a tumbleweed roll like that for a long time .. 😂 I'm actually flying to El Paso Friday for a family wedding up in Ruidoso, at the Flying Jay Ranch. I hope to enjoy a visit to La Posta while I'm home. I will only be there through Monday, so it will be a quick trip. I'll be looking for your Video on Saturday. Blessings, Mary
I'm so happy you love these Bonus Videos. I know people who are just here for the recipes may get annoyed by them, but I love sharing things that are unique to the southwest. It's funny how many people commented about the tumbleweeds! I love it! Hope you have a wonderful time at the wedding. Ruidoso is so beautiful and La Posta in Old Mesilla is my fave. 😋
Marcy, your back yard is beautiful! Wow I bet your husband LOVES his job! My husband used to be a golfer until back problems but boy does he watch it on TV. So happy you got to spend time with your daughter and Cilantro. He may not be able to carry a tune but he sure is cute! Looking forward to your next video and I'm sure you'll do just fine without your husband manning the camera. TFS
Of all the sports that Tony covers, he says golf is the most difficult. It's not easy following a tiny white ball as it flys across the sky. You've got to be zoomed in tight, and hope that you don't lose it when the sun gets in your eyes. But he loves it. He's a golfer, himself. Although, just like your husband, his back prevents him from playing anymore. Thanks for the vote of confidence and for leaving such a nice comment.
Cilantro didn't do so bad at all❣️ Hey also I did not find a single easter egg 🪺🙂, but the flowers and trees are beautiful 🌱 I pray you have a blessed day Sister in Christ.
Your video makes me miss The Bosque; I grew up in NM and wish u spent more quality time enjoying it. I have yet to see a backyard as welcoming as yours. My mom loves Canvas! And Cilantro is perfectly on key!
Great post. The little dog was funny. A bit of trivia about tumbleweeds. They are not native to the U.S. The seeds made their way over here by way of Russian immigrants in the 1800's and spread. Ironically they have became one of the many symbols of the western U.S.
Yard looks great! I can't wait to get SynLawn out to our new house in Las Cruces and get some of that great looking "fake grass" in our yard! Cilantro is a GREAT name for that pup! Curious if y;all have thought yet about getting a new little buddy at your house? Miley was such a great dog and I'm sure he would be happy if you all found it in your hearts to rescue another pup to add to your family...Best to you both.
Thank you for remembering Miley. It's taken me a while, but just last night I was thinking it really is time to get another dog. I'll probably wait for the summer when Tony is home more. This way I can travel with him and not have to worry about finding a dog sitter. Hope your new house is coming along. It's exciting when you get to put your own stamp on it. Fake grass is great. We still have real grass in our front lawn, But not having to worry about the back has been great. Plus, they make it so realistic now.
@@marcyinspired1442 Great to hear you're thinking about getting another little buddy! Can't wait to see him/her in a video....There's a really good rescue organization in Flagstaff area that seems to always have some dogs (especially puppies) needing homes.
You sure made use of your space, you got a lot in a little space and it doesn't look crowded! Marissa looks like you photos but in video she looks like both of you! Cilantro needs to drop some tracks, he sings better than me!🐕😎
Cilantro is out of control! She really thinks I'm there to see her.😂Marisa found her outside a Mexican restaurant a few years ago and no one ever claimed her. Marisa named her "Cilantro" before finding out she was a girl. So sometimes she calls her "Cilantricia." Either way, she's a character, and so is my daughter, for that matter. She's the joy of my life.
Aww Marcy!❤️ I enjoy watching you Cook and enjoy your recipes. I'm kinda new to your channel. I'm a Veggie girl, but once in a while, I would eat some tamales but never Pork. Just wanted to Thank you for bringing us into your Beautiful backyard and Sharing your Paradise💖Your daughter is surely talented with the guitar and even your little dog Cilantro loves to Sing right along It was nice taking us in that little walk with you and your daughter into the Bosque! You sure made me very welcoming and a part of your Sweet family!❤So, I noticed you are in New Mexico. Wanted to mention, my mom was born in New Mexico and so was my grandma but both of them are in the Loving Arms of our Savior Jesus Christ, Amen!🕎 BLESSINGS!🕎❤️
@@jaynegandarela7001 Thank you for the kind words. I'm so happy you enjoyed this peek into my personal life. And I'm especially happy to know you are a woman of faith, who has the blessed assurance that your mother and grandmother are with the Lord. I always say, "we haven't lost our loved ones when we know exactly where they are." Thanks for watching.❤
I recently drove that stretch of I40 going from California to the eclipse in Texas. We were buffeted by the wind and was it ever cold! Thanks for the backyard tour.
That's so cool that you drove to Texas for the eclipse!🌒It was crazy to see online how it went completely dark in the middle of the day. I can only imagine what it would have been like in person. Thanks for watching!
I'm glad my video cheered you up. I don't like hearing that you were sad. Make sure you're getting plenty of rest, eating well, and also getting some sunshine. All of this will help. I'll pray for you right now: Father, I lift up my friend to you. I don't know her personally, but you do. You created her and are familiar with every part of her life. I pray that you would lift her spirits today and let her know she is loved. Bless her I pray, in Jesus' name, Amen.
Thank you so much for this beautiful glimpse into your backyard! Your pool is exactly what I envision for my small, tropical backyard. May I ask what the approximate dimensions are so I can share as I search for a pool contractor? Thank you!
Hi, my name is David Vargas, iwasborn in El Paso TX. We moved to Garfield NM before settling in San Bernardino CA. Been here since 1955.. I enjoyed your extra video, but I would have liked more names and descriptions of places, but I did enjoy the video. I have watched your videos for a while now and I really enjoy them, just one thing I’d change - -no bay leaves. Could you mention the name of the iconic restaurant in Albuquerque, I have a sister and a niece, who live in Rio Rancho. Thank you very much, best of wishes to you and your family.
I wanted to go to Sadie's to show some traditional New Mexico food. Since you live there, where would you recommend? I've featured Frontier, the Sawmill, and Central Grill in previous videos. My husband and I tend to go to Cocina Azul whenever we're in town. I would love some suggestions.
My go to for chile and NM food are Mary and Tito’s Cafe on 4th St. or Padillas on Girard nothing fancy just good chile and tasty food w/home made vibe.
@@jamessanchez6027 Those are my kind of places. They don't have to be fancy because the food is the main draw. Thanks so much for the tip. I will definitely check them out. Thanks!
Oh Marcy, you did my heart so much good this day. Cilantro sings beautifully, we all use the voice God gave us, right? I've got a pot that reads "Paris" stuck full of fake sunflowers on my porch... that's my garden. Otherwise lots o'rocks and WEEDING 💃💃💃
She's making a joyful noise! (Emphasis on noise! 🤣) I'm sure your fake sunflowers are beautiful. Definitely cuts down on the amount of work that's required.
Thank you for sharing your back yard with us .And also spending time with your daughter and cilantro are so cute ...I live 35 minutes south of Albuquerque. Just wondering what was the restaurant called that had a 2 hour wait..Just curious.. Love all your videos...❤
