For everybody's information, Fran's Tawk Show didn't make it. I watched it every morning and was really hoping that it would make it past the test run for another season, but unfortunately it didn't make it, I guess ratings and views were too low. It's upsetting, but it's okay, we have Happily Divorced and The Nanny reruns and movies, and I'm sure there's plenty more to come.
no... its her sexuality. shes fluid and her femininity comes out with women she likes women who like women do this all the time. its also a way to make the other woman comfortable
i dont think the question is phrased ideally (for a thorough answer) although if it had been, the conversation would have taken a different tone. i think fran is a great interviewer, but in fact the bullying in north america is extreme and has nothing to do with the child BEING bullied. i went to schools in other countries as well, and never saw bullying the way it was in N.America. i think kids are modeling what they see among adults around them and in the media--as well they get away with it easily.
@ChocolateChad127 I was just going to leave a comment about that. It seems like she's putting on a bit of a specific personality for the target demographic: syrupy sweet, flowery lilt kind of a moment.
I love Margaret Cho and Fran Drescher is decidedly my birth mother, but this interview is just... really bizarre. It feels very Twilight Zone-esque. Just really... Neither of them seem like themselves.
@CraftyWizard23 It has been off the air for years. It ran for less than a month and was quickly cancelled. It was pretty terrible, and I say that as someone who loves Fran. She took everything SO SERIOUSLY, never allowing for any real humor. This interview is a good example; Margaret will say something, Fran will let out a mild laugh and then bring it back to something serious. EVERY TIME! So sad she couldn't let go a little more.
I don't see how she's doing that. I guess most are used to hearing her talk in another tone. That it's unusually hearing her sound more girly. Sounds fine to me.
