On the 7th of September 2011, on what would have been Buddy's 75th Birthday, The Buddy Holly Story was performing to packed audiences in Woking, in the South of England. Half way across the world, Maria Elena Holly was inducting Buddy into the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Before she flew to LA, Glen Joseph (who plays Buddy in the show alongside Roger Rowley) and Matt Salisbury, the director of the show, had the opportunity to meet with Maria Elena, and amongst many other interviews, she recorded this message for fans of Buddy in Woking, and all across the world, who were undoubtedly celebrating his career and music on this very important day.
The video also features a rare 'fan cam' recording of some of the show as well as Glen's speech marking the occasion during the finale.
