Mariah Carey is the most phenomenal singer ever to walk the earth! She's better than Whitney, Celine, Michael Jackson and all the other greats. Mariah's on her completely own and solitary level!
@@arcanearcanum8926 Who cares what you think, you stupid piece of shit? 😆😆😆 I'm not nuts for being smarter than everyone else in my understanding of musical and vocal talent.
@@arcanearcanum8926 People who have only seen a few of Mariah Carey's live song performances don't have enough information to say otherwise. You can't know how amazing she is without hearing enough of her music. She has way more hits than misses, and it's time more people are made aware of that. Mariah Carey is very consistent.
@@tunO8 what.... i was clearing out my social tab in my email, and since this is connected to my email, i happened to see it. also, not only was this a hobby, but i don't even upload anymore, so i don't understand the presumption that a lack of prosperity would somehow be a sensitive point. you are very very strange.
The Hero G5 at Tokyo and C#5 in Thanksgiving Make It Happen are both amazing, as well as the F#5s in If It's Over. Great selection of clips by the way☺
MrSkinnyJeanz3 if it's over at the 1992 grammys! and yeah it was sooo good but tbh i liked her e5 from anytime you need a friend at the tokyo dome better
Lamb Forever thanks so much! and yeah, there are so many f5's i could have used instead. for some reason, i just forgot like most of her performances while making this and ended up with those notes lol
The Eb5 in Emotions MTV Unplugged(undubbed) and in the Music Box "World" Tour are incredible too. Her D5 in "Now That I Know" in Worcester is incredible too but she sounds a little bit tired.
Lamb Forever i wanted to use the eb5 from emotions but youtube took down the video for it and my picky ass didn't want to use a still pic with just audio attached to it :/ yeah i liked the d5 from now that i know and thought about using it (esp since she doesn't have as many good sustained d5's imo), but like you said, her voice sounded really tired, and that kind of pushed me away tbh. i'm probably gonna use it for this one video i'm working on, though! but anyways, i thought about remaking this video with better notes (esp for f5 since she has wayy better f5's imo) and also some 2000's/2010's notes, but i have like a million unfinished videos that i should really finish first lol
Lamb Forever oh, i forgot about that performance, so thanks for reminding me! i'm currently working on a video of mariah's rarely used notes, and you mentioning that performance just reminded me of how overlooked the performances from the emotions era are. like, the arsenio hall and vma performances of emotions plus the snl and grammy performances of if it's over are iconic af, but a lot of her promotional performances from that era are forgotten, even though they're really good, like the can't let go performance from snl, which has a ton of e5's
daydream ikr, Emotions era is better than music box era consistency wise(except Mariah's hero and without you performances). Is Hark The Herald Angels Sing in the Emotions era? It sounds like Music Box.
Lamb Forever right? ppl always say music box was better but she was always sooo consistent in the emotions era. like honestly she did so many promotional performances and was always consistently good and she also gave her best performance of all time (if it's over @ 1992 grammys) tbh i always thought it was from the emotions era bc her tone sounds too heavy and thick to be from the music box era + her upper belts sounded very chesty to me but idk. i remember everyone said it was from emotions a while back but recently ppl have been saying music box and i'm just really confused about it lol
Could you give me a link to her F#5's? I'm not a huge Mariah fan because I just started listening to her music but so far I LOVE HER! So, I'm not very familiar with her stuff...not yet anyway! Thanks!
Highnotes- andstuff I see you already found it! If you're getting into Mariah you can start with The Emantipation of Mimi cause it's 10 years old now. Most fans agree that Daydream and Butterfly are her best albums (so do I :P) Debut and Emotions have more chesty belts and sound a bit more 80-like. Music Box is a mehh album imo, but Just to hold you once again>>>> It also has the iconic Hero and Without You and Anytime You need a friend. Rainbow is one of my faves, a bit more teen pop and there are some great ballads there. If you wanna listen on of her recent albums, I'm not very fan of MC=E^2 (It has some dance/pop bops) and Memories (But it has some very original songs) MIAM it's her best album in years, it gives me some TEOM feelings and her vocals are amazing.
Highnotes- andstuff the first set of F#5's is from her performance of if it's over at the 1992 grammy's, and the second set is from her performance of anytime you need a friend (and its remix) at the tokyo dome during her 1996 daydream tour. also, it's great to see someone who has just become a fan! i own almost all of her music and absolutely love her(:
bitch, what the fuck did i steal? i literally made this video (and 2 years ago, too, so idk why your weird ass is here rn), you dumb ass crazy ass bitch
