You can tell. She said "5 months" so sadly, that it's "very nice, very good. Thank you. Yeah, going great" very awkwardly, forcing herself to act joyful about it.
It's clearer now in hindsight that she's spoken her truth. I never realized she was putting in an act at the time. Like when she made Dreamlover and sang *come rescue me" I remember thinking, "from what"? When I read her amazing memoir, then I understood. @@manalcali153
She had it even before this show. Her vision of love era and emotions era had fuller tone, more chest, less vanilla. She sang this way cuz the critics said she sings too high and was over the top before. Listen to her SNL rehearsal. More brilliant than this performance. And her MTV unplugged. Love it. She never returned to that type of singing and performance.
*_"she wasn’t even aware of her fullest potential"_* Uh yes, she (along with the rest of the world) was well aware of her full potential. What a ridiculous comment. smh
I'd say either the London stop on the Daydream Tour, OR, ANYTHING in 1994 were her peaks. Her Hero performance in Spain in 1994 was practically perfect, technically speaking.
Mariah when she was thin, super pretty, and her voice was super accurate. The equipment behind her is very complex. This must have been her real touring setup. Nobody tries this live nowadays without automatic pitch correction...
Just imagine the world around when you see her and actually living here at this point to feel the futuristic spiral here to be made into history now is a profound talent within the artistry herself. I think it spoke from this generation to experience that kind of moving love and strength we miss from her has now changed for her eternally just think of it that way. I mean it's beyond any other scene of a song I've laid my eyes on to hear before and then appreciate our star to become a legend is worth more than her voice to fully grow and travel in wind is something truly wise and incredible to follow. It chose to inspire her and lift the hearts of many we gave her reason to live and bless her as a gift of honour and humility to stand humble. Her two children will be born into her legacy to embrace what she gave her life for to find what she did was the difference and wouldn't have asked for more to offer or trade. I'll love her to the ends of the earth to see this of her once again. LOVE & PEACE QUEEN I CELEBRATE AND SING FOR YOU IN LIFE ETERNALLY. 😃😇😁😄🙂🥲☺️😊😌
Wow after reading her book that question about her marriage made her uncomfy but she roled with it - body language was like it's horrible - she fuzzed with diff things and rubbed her knee etc. Wow, she really did sell it though
its the same as this other video (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-F-YJSSdZq50.html). But this has the interview, the other one is just the performance. And in the climax "The Way", the other video's audio has a slight break. But in this one it's perfect
Tommy knew what he was doing regarding her fashion, hair, and demeanour. This is the Mariah I worshipped as a little girl, the epitome of grace, elegance, and class. Not the tarty hot pants look she started in the Butterfly era, and then on to over the top evening gowns and wigs
