@@SnuggleBunny. I feel like she gave us a little hint of how unhappy she was with "looking in" on her Daydream album. She says in an interview that her friends and ppl that actually cared about her were calling her and asking if she was OK after they heard the song.
Actually there are lots of *female* singers that are controlled like Beyonce and Britney etc., it's sad that they need to suffer from that. They are treated like as if they're just milking cows. No one should ever feel that way. People are scary.

And you don't see a lot of shade clips from the beginning of her career because she believes you have to earn the right to throw shade. There are levels to this! She never shaded anyone who paved the way for her! The only person to come before her that she shaded was Madonna, and it was in response to something she had said about Mariah and Madonna wasn't one her paved her way. She was in a different lane. She never came for those who came before her...even when they shaded her. Levels to this!
@liam10604 no she wasn’t I’ve literally seen every interview of her, news clip etc. She never said anything shady unless someone like Madonna did first. She was pretty shy and humble through most of the 90’s.

She has definitely shaded people in the 90s, but every time Mariah shades someone it's in response to something negative they've said about her. Mariah is not a nasty person, she only shades people when it's deserved. But it's not as if "over time" she's become bitter or something with age like Dee implied. Mariah is very humble and sweet but if someone comes for her she will not take it lying down.

She's been doing live singing videos for the past three weeks at home and people are watching that. With as much money as she has, I wouldn't care about singing anymore, but you can tell she has a passion for singing, so I can see why she's shady. This is coming from someone who doesn't even listen to her as well.

We age and shit changes. I also dont think its about the money for her. That it is more about the celebrity and what comes with that. I also dont think money gives you the right to be shady. I think she has a bad attitude and is so privileged she thinks she can also behave like an 18 year old. I think she needs to come back to Earth.

I love Mariah but I'm not in denial. Her vocals aren't there anymore like they used to be. It comes off very forced. That's normal tho for singers. As they get older their voice change.
