This was a Kanye West production and personally I think it was one of the best songs on the album. I also think Get Your Number was a great song for the clubs along with One and only pt2 with Twista was overlooked.

At the time the heat for this to be a single WAS REAL !!!

I used to repeat this, "To the floor" with Nelly and "get your number" with Jermaine Dupri. The album is easily one of the best of her catalogue.

I knew you would like this one. I always thought this song shouldve been a single because it has all the elements of a hit. Its catchy, well produced - courtesy of Kanye West, and the vocals go crazy. But I suspect she didn't choose this as a single because it would have been torture on her voice to promote it. She uses ample chest voice here and its stellar. Only Mariah can go off like that and make it sound so beautiful. Definitely a dummy download for sure.

I’m guessing maybe she didn’t release it as a single because that new chick is now Mrs. Jeter. Imagine every time you turn on the radio, one of the biggest singers ever is singing a song about how she hooked up with your man at his insistence.
