Tough battle since both are trinity level, I have a soft spot for Mariah but Celine… cmon the effort she put to preserve her voice is so underrated. I think this video is a bit biased towards Mariah, but I might be wrong.

I will say… I find it interesting that most people are not pointing out that all these notes are live from Celine and 95 percent of the notes from Mariah in this video are lipped or dubbed. I know that this poster is bias to Mariah, because he said “Mariah” many times before Celine even began the same note lol 😅 And he sang the run and riff with Mariah before she sang it the same way showing he knew all of these deep cuts haha. Having said that, he’s totally adorable so I enjoyed watching this.

I, PERSONALLY, would always choose Celine. Not only because she's one of the most kind and humble person in this business but also vocally. I love the agility in her voice (ad libs / scatting like in Mr Paganini), the resonance and the way she takes you to heaven with her softness and blows you away the next minute with one of her power belts. I just love her!

A fact that I like everyone to remember, Céline vocally humiliated Mariah at the 1998 Divas, which Mariah herself, out of envy, never tires of remembering this iconic day...🥱💋👸🏼

It is easy to know who your opinions favor, since your attitude and way of expressing yourself are a clear example of a cheap copy of Mariah's attitude. At least she is a diva, on the contrary, I highly doubt that you have enough training or talent to say anything against both Celine and Mariah. i definitely like and listen to mariah more but they set celine up with the lows. celine is better than mariah in the lower register. not by much but definitely much better than those clips. edit: they fully set celine up with those shitty clips lol

Y'all needa stop hating on Mariah, she is better than Celine and she has a lower voice naturally than Celine so she would have more ease! Y'all not gonna try and doubt/discredit Mariah for being "dubbed" when that wasn't her fault and some if not most of the Celine clips were lipped worse than dubbing.

If its 1990-1996 then i prefer mariah If its anything after1997 celine was just vocally superior after 1997 ...i love both though so im not gonna compare but i do tend to listen to more mariah songs than celine dion songs...although celine has much better notes than what was shown in these clips...the choices for mariah were questionable aswell since most of the clips shown were from dubbed audio but she has notes that are just as good from tv performances and tours... but as a lover of the trinity i dont want to compare them since they all outclass todays best singers anyway 😭
