It amazes me that she sang it in the original key. She jumps octaves and makes it look so easy 😂 Who else can go from those low notes to whistle notes so seamlessly

Her whole experience shaped all the good and bad in her career but still, she perseveres. There will never be another. It's not even about levels, or leagues, she has single handedly defined, defied, and demonstrated everything. It's so sad how many people don't get it.

Mariah is the only female artist I know that. That can go super low and then next note jump up to that signature whistle. Just insane how she's able to do that. Her low notes she doesn't get credit for them like she should. She could hit them low notes just as good as men.

I'm so glad y'all did this! Stevie and Aretha are Mariah's Top 2!! Mariah's lows are phenomenal especially considering how high her voice can go. And she kept it mostly true to the original with his runs, it was a very respectful rendition of the song with a few Mariah-isms especially at the end!! Fun fact: Stevie Wonder actually plays the harmonica on Mariah's 2013 track Make It Look Good! Y'all gotta do Emotions at MTV Unplugged!!

One of my favorite MC vocals. People love to talk about her whistle register and high notes, but I’ve always been more impressed with how low she can get.
