@tiannacarson3076 I don't know the medical term, but the Dalphine had a issue with the head of his p×××s that required surgery to correct, and he refused to have the surgery until his grandfather the King of France , being under politacal pressure from Ms mother , the Empress of Austria demanded the King of France intervene and force the Dalphine to have the corrective surgery done . Once that 'problem ' was taken care of , the Dalphine and M had 4 children , 2 sons and 2 daughters. Only one son and daughter survived ; the oldest son died before 10 years of age and a daughter died in infancy .

Because up to the 19th/20th century, monarchies and nobility arranged marriages for political gain , wealth, lands, and titles - never 'love' The only couples in monarchy that actually loved each other in that Era were Victoria and Albert , George ( I forget the number ) and Mary Teck, George V and Elizebeth Boyles L., Elizabeth II and Philip of Greece - granted, there were a few others , but the % was so low that it's not worth mentioning.
