The strange thing is nobody blinks an eye at giving kids chemo and radiation that makes them want to die but give a kid cannabis to give them a chance even or even the drive to live and people loose their minds. I have to admit I was a bit shocked too until I realized this is a child undergoing chemo and isn't laying around wishing for death.

What the father said about having to flood her system with as much THC as she can mentally handle is 100% true with cancer patients. In Order for it to work her cells must be in a constant state of euphoria to fight off the effects of the chemo and the remaining cancer cells . You can do nothing but applaud this family's effort and wish them well .

What amazing, loving parents. Anybody against this doesn't know what its like to watch their children fight for their life against a ugly, evil disease or disorder like cancer or epilepsy. Im amazed at how fast she had her remission, I wonder if she reacted so well to the cannabinoids because of her youth.

My daughter has cancer. She was given norco, percocet, and demerol to get her pain under control. None helped and she said she felt miserable. All the pain killers made her constipated and in worsened the nausea she had from chemo. She tried many different antinausea meds and still vomited all day, eventually losing 35 pounds in 6 weeks. It absolutely changed her personality to be so sick and in so much pain. She tried some medical marijuana and just like you see on the video, she was feeling better that very day. She no longer takes narcotics, antinausea meds or stool softeners. Even on her chemo days! Shes gained back four pounds. She goes out of the house and is smiling, hanging out with her friends, playing with the dogs and doing her regular thing again. It is a wonder drug. Before the marijuana she was so sick she wouldnt get out of bed. So until youve had to see your child suffer, puke, cry, look weak and pale and endure the hell that is cancer you have absolutely NO effing clue and NO place to judge, especially when you see such a huge improvement with marijuana over traditional meds. p.s. For you simple folks who are clueless, you think just be ause tradition drugs are prescribed by Dr. Average Joe that theyre safe? Im a registered nurse and Im here to tell you that they cause sooo many side effects including organ and brain damage. Lol

Much love to all Update from September 2021 - She is alive and healthy 9 years in remission. fun fact - Got she got her learners permit to drive over the summer. Update from July 2022 - She's still healthy and 10 years cancer free

Thank you all for loving my girl and sending our family good energy, healing vibes, and waves of positivity that carried us to where we are today. We couldn’t have been happier about the outcome of Mykayla’s case … and without cannabis it wouldn’t have been possible.  Please continue to work on advocating for the end of prohibition because until we see the end of federal prohibition kids with cancer will never have a safe access to the medicine that is responsible for saving Mykayla’s life and providing a decade worth of remission.

I grew up in the Hollywood Hills with my mom who sold Ganja and Hashish. She started giving me alcohol and coffee when I was a tiny little kid and then Cannabis.

I have a license signed by my mom and its helped me more then any medicine ive taken i have it prescribed for ptsd but it helps with my panic disorder as well

I'm 16 years old and I have really bad OCD, ADD/ADHD. I feel if marijuana didn't exist I wouldn't be here today because I was in the worst mental state before I discovered the benefits. I have better grades now with A's and B's. Before discovering the amazing Benefits of the plant, I stressed out everyday because I feared that something would hurt me if I didn't do the rituals I needed to do. Now my life is great and my social skills have boosted.

My parents stuffing ADHD medication (speed) down my throat throughout my adolescence at the instruction of the school was much worse than this.

I'm 15 and have had JRA (juvenile rheumatoid arthritis) since I was 13, ever since I had horrible depression, if it weren't for marijuana i don't even know if I'd be here, it's helped me deal with the pain and depression so much, it also gave me less anxiety so now I get much better grades (I know sounds weird it's usually the opposite), but the proofs there, im not a lazy stoner because of it, I run two clubs at my school, im on principles honor roll (4.0 GPA and above) and I'm a cheerleader, medical marijuana should be open to EVERYONE that needs it!!

My stepdad was diagnosed with prostate cancer with a PSA reading of 25.6 (normal is 5 and below) so I got him to use some RSO cannabis oil. Even before his first chemo treatment his PSA was down to 5.8 so he decided not to do chemo but he did 10 radiation treatments instead of the 30 they were going to give him.
