This version is absolutely perfect, Manson's voice here is beautiful. I am going through a difficult and dark phase in my life, so I come here every day to listen to this song. In a way, it eases my pain and helps me not to do anything foolish...
i love him so much. he's such a wonderful person too be around, he's really shy, and loves to give back too the community. he's not afraid too speak his mind, most people look at him as a freakshow, but what i see is a lost soul and when you see him perform he lets the mask slip and that lost lonely version of himself comes out. the one who's not afraid too admit that he's odd, he in fact is one of the most pleasant people i have ever gotten too know. he's my personal hero. his music made understand that music is a form of art. i grew up in a house if i evven played one of his song my mother would beat me. she looked at him like a monster an outcast. just as she did me. but i took the his meanings behind his songs and it opened my eyes. people say his music influences the youth. of course it does he's the only who takes Real dark real world situations and shows the truth behind the government Sheep, Brian Hugh Warner i truly love you - Love Bobby-Younglove
Marilyn Manson is one of the most gifted singers there is on this planet. He has so many different styles of singing. It just blows my mind. When you think about happiness, you can feel happiness in the songs when he sings about depression. You can feel depression songs what he thinks about pain you can feel the pain in his songs.
I do to MM shows super vocal ability with basic acoustic he has a sound that became electric and it is always ever changing. fav musician he is and vocalist since 1995
Just played this for my 1 week old son while I changed his diaper...and not a single cry came out. He layed calmly listening to Manson's voice the whole time. I guess Manson not only gives me peace, but my little man also. Love Love Love Manson!
+Anarky I honestly expected the acoustic song to have clean vocals. Not shit talking, I like the song, but when he does the growled vocals paired with the acoustic strumming, it's a little outlandish. Great song,but I'd certainly listen to other acoustic songs when I'm in the acoustic mood. He's very talented nonetheless. Jack Kure Looking back on this, I realize that it may or may not have been held back to reserve the focus on the vocals. The last hits on the guitar don't really support that theory, though. Sounds like a rough demo that didn't take the vocals into consideration, but still, it's a cool track.
John Frusciante's solo stuff really did the same for me. Thanks to his music, I felt really motivated to learn to play guitar and sing. You might find his album "Niandra Lades & Usually Just a T-shirt" to be interesting if you like the dark stuff that MM writes.
I remember that day the ratings were high and what happened MM took much shame for a dumbed down media outlet. His singing ability for those that criticised him is far beyond listen to how hard he hit on the verses near end. Sad song but MM fans etc we know it well.
as soon as columbine happened MM was shot in2 every living room N the world - he was Americas hate of the times - he was a marter of the press - he pretty much was impossible not to hear of. and his music will live on forever . . .. . . . .. . Man that you fear also had an unplugged acoustic release on this rare MM cd called Remix and Repent . . . . . If you dig this version i hi ly suggest you seek it out..
he is an awesome person everyone is telling me to stop listening to him but i love the messages that his songs give and under all that makeup he is a great (regular) person i wish people would understand that he is amazing and after all god did create him.

I've never picked up a guitar before, but a few days ago I found this video and decided I should learn to do it on guitar. I listened to the song, then played what I heard. I can now play the whole thing from memory while singing along.
