I'm glad this wonderful collection of Sam Shaw photos is still to be seen here on You Tube. I didn't know of this video until now. I've seen many of Sam Shaw's photos of Marilyn but many here are new to me. Even for Marilyn 3:53 is remarkable. Some of the photos here have a posed quality while most are much more spontaneous.---From what I know of Marilyn's life the time at which these pictures were taken may have been at the high point of Marilyn's life and I would say at the high point of her beauty. I've also read that fairly early in the Monroe-Miller marriage there was trouble. I hope that the happiness seen here was real for both Marilyn and for Arthur. Mr. Miller did say once, "We had a couple of good years".
