Friendly people seem to always get treated poorly. For some reason if you act cold to people they seem to treat you better because they have to work for your friendship. How sad.

being friendly does not mean you have to be taken advantage of. It is up to the individual to set boundaries. Friendliness may be seen as needy by some....

I hate it when people say that Marilyn was an extrovert. All of her close friends say that she was rather quiet and lonely. In an interview from 1960, she talked about the importance of solitude. Clearly an introvert
@zyxwut321
@zyxwut321 4 года назад
People who say that clearly don't understand introverts or introversion. Many of the most famous, flamboyant performers have been introverts, from Elvis Presley to Freddie Mercury to Elton John to Barbra Streisand to Michael Jackson to Bette Midler to Miley Cyrus. Introversion deals with how you regain energy, either through public means (extroversion) or private means (introversion). Introverts often make the BEST performers because they have a very deep inner life and inner well to draw from.

Yes and you would think that with so many pills as suggested there would be at least a trace of a pill in her stomach! No pills in her stomach. so she did not take the overdose herself! she was given it in a needle or enema! no needle was found at her side so she did not inject herself. eunice murray had the washing machine running at 4 in the morning! washing sheets of enema fluid?? which contained evidence of the fatal drugs used. and enema was the way they entered marilyn not by pills!

Marilyn Monroe Video Archives. Agree. Disturbingly sad. There's a good interview with James Hall, I think is his name, who was one of the paramedics onsite around midnight, and he stated they administered CPR and brought her back, but it was "a" or her supposed doctor who administered the lethal dose to her heart, that ended up killing her. All covered up from the maid to the coroner. There are plenty of people who were involved that provide credible interviews that document foul play. Really incredible how it's been kept covered up.

ok, I will solve the mystery for everybody. Betty Robin was the wife of Leo Robin. He was a well known musical composer and actually composed music for Marilyns gentleman prefer blonds fox picture in 1953. He is listed on the credits. Robin was married 3 times and was in a relationship with betty for 25 years before they married (his 3rd) in 1979. Betty is also known by the name of Cherrie Redmond before she became Betty Robin. Cherrie has been documented in several biographies of Marilyn as her secretary from Jan 62 on. In the rather obscure book Eunice Murray the housekeeper wrote in 1975, for some reason she hated Cherrie and trashed her. It is pretty clear from the interview that Cherrie wasnt really on the scene the last few weeks before marilyn died and had no clue of the involvement of Eunice and Greenson in the accidental overdose. It was clear Cherrie/Betty knew a hell of a lot about Marilyn as her comments/observations had to be from somebody that knew her well.

Accidental overdose... Not by all that I have read. To have reached the level of barbiturates and hydrochloride she would have needed to swallow 74 tablets. They found no contents in her stomach and there was no glass in her room to take the tablets with. They say she was given a suppository with the drugs instead. There were no fingerprints found in her room, not even her own and the people who bought the house after Marilyn died found wire tapping throughout the house when remodelling. The number of parties who would benefit from her death was astoundingly awful.

Have you guys seen the interview on video of one of the guys at the scene saying he saw Dr Greenson put an injection into her heart, breaking a rib, and thought it was something else, and was surprised to see Marilyn stop breathing after that? They laid her face down on the bed to cover it up, and she had a pool of blood in the front. Poor girl. Surrounded by snakes. Dr Greenson told paramedics who got to the scene that it was the pills and pointed to them, but there was no glass of water nearby. Oops, skipped that detail, Greenson.

@@lloydkline6946 She and her sister only saw each other maybe a handful of times There was no close relationship between them. Her true blue friends were targeted to be erased from her life by Dr. Greenson (and also conversely by Mrs. Murray, under instructions of Dr. Greenson) who, by that time, had fallen in love with her. It was a lethal case of counter transference in a doctor/patient relationship. Dr. Greenson even had the audacity to tell MM to stop seeing one of her best friends, Ralph Roberts, because "...There is room for only one Ralph in your life, and that is me..." She broke down and cried when she relayed his edict on to Roberts. Joe was the only one that Dr. Greenson could not successfully separate her from, and this proved to be the Doctor's downfall. Greenson's own wife INSISTED that he accompany her on a five week trek to Europe, which would culminate in him receiving an award in Israel, of which he only wanted to spend ONE week), because, as she admitted, she was worried about leaving him alone with Marilyn. There was now a great love and friendship between MM and Joltin' Joe, as both had matured and evolved as individuals (Joe even admitted to undergoing psychotherapy in order to control his insane jealousy of MM and physical handling of her) and rumor has it that Joe and MM were scheduled to remarry on the day that turned out to be her funeral. The catered food for the small reception had been ordered, and she had received a final fitting for her wedding dress by Jean Louis (the same man who created the "Happy Birthday" dress). Her best days were definitely ahead of her, and not in the rear view mirror.

Wow, what a kind, perceptive and fascinating insight. I have never held with the notion of suicide. I think it was likely a tragic miscalculation of how much she'd imbibed of one drug or another, combined with the absence of anyone to take good care of her. If she was reclusive, it was from tiring of being hurt or misunderstood, and I can't help but imagine that one probably lives very much the way one always has, even when wealth and luxury is added to one's life.

@TheVerbalVolley
@TheVerbalVolley 5 лет назад
That, my friend, is the $64,000.00 question, and a significant point to reiterate again and again. There was no drinking vessel in her room at the time of her death. There is no way that she could swallow such a massive quantity of pills without water. Plus, her bathroom had no running water because it was being remodeled. She would have had to have left her room and gotten water from the bathroom right where Mrs. Murray was staying. This would certainly have awoken Mrs. Murray. Only one of many strange circumstances surrounding a death that has been an unsolved mystery for almost sixty years. Sadly, we will never know the truth about exactly what happened that fateful night. It will be forever shrouded in mystery.

Who Is this woman? She knows nothing about Marilyn and certainly was NOT her personal assistant during all of 1962 (for 8 months.) She said MICKEY Rudin asked her to be her personal assistant, however, his name is NOT Mickey but instead is MILTON. There are plenty of pay checks that Marilyn signed for those that worked for her and this woman is not one of them. She said Marilyn never wore 'dangling' earrings. Seriously? She said Marilyn would only wear one dress when she went out and didn't have any dresses in her wardrobe. I guess she failed to read Marilyn's 'property' list at the time of her death. She said Marilyn never drank ,just sipped champagne now and again. She should check the many receipts from Wine stores where Marilyn bought many bottles of Dom Perignon, which was always her favourite and she worried many people when she would drink this champagne while taking her pills. She said Marilyn never smoked. That is also is incorrect. If she was Marilyn's personal assistant where was she when all this turmoil was going on in her life when Something's Got to Give was being filmed?

He was a well known musical composer and actually composed music for Marilyn's gentleman prefer blonds fox picture in 1953. It is pretty clear from the interview that Cherrie wasn't really on the scene the last few weeks before Marilyn died and had no clue of the involvement of Eunice and Greenson in the accidental overdose. It was clear Cherrie/Betty knew a hell of a lot about Marilyn as her comments/observations had to be from somebody that knew her well."

The only problem with that testimony is that Marilyn was found with empty bottles and several times the lethal limit of chloral hydrate and pentobarbital in her system. This lady seemed to have trouble coming to grips with the idea that Marilyn could've possibly been suicidal, maybe because it contradicts her experience and memory of her. Suicidal people are often notoriously difficult to spot, especially if they've been in that condition, thinking about it for a while. Marilyn had been depressed for years even if she held on to some degree of functionality.
