An interview with Marina Sirtis (Counselor Deanna Troi from Star Trek: The Next Generation) on a local news station in Los Angeles.
NOTE: This is my 2nd attempt to upload. RU-vid keeps cutting off my videos at 4:43, so I am trying different encoding formats.
The clip at the beginning is from 7th season's "Dark Page". The interview itself was aired on November 8, 1993, and took place during the filming of "Homeward" from later in the 7th season. This is, in my opinion, the most beautiful and radiant I have seen Marina looking in ANY interview.
This was originally on a VHS tape recorded at the 6-hour speed, so the quality isn't THAT great, but it's OK.
I loved Patrick Stewart's screw-up of the guest character's name. :)
The interview was done by a no-longer-existing station in Los Angeles called KCOP, Channel 13. We in San Diego were fortunate enough to be able to get Channel 13 if we had the right cable provider. This station aired the new TNG episodes at 9:00 PM on Monday nights, and then had news at 10:00. They often did short segments on Star Trek. This was before the existence of UPN. When UPN was formed, a local Channel 13 in San Diego was created and it was the UPN affiliate.
Time permitting, I will try to post the other interviews mentioned at the end of this clip, at least those that I have. I don't have the one with Nana Visitor, but I do have Terry Farrell and Gates McFadden.
