Hi baltmatrix, those small fighter aircraft models represent the Chinese naval fighter Shenyang J-15. The real jet is, just like the carrier, based of the the Russian fighter Sukhoi Su-33 Flanker-D. Danke from Deutschland for your videos! 🤩
The J-15 actually has a really interesting history, since it's based on both the J-11B, a already modified chinese version of the Su-27, and a unfinished prototype SU-33 acquired from ukraine and reverse engineered, since negotiations with Russia over china adquiring the Su-33 ended up collapsing. Somewhat similar to how China Produced advanced variants of the J7, a licenced early Mig21F, in parallel to the Soviet advanced modifications of the Mig21, even until very recently, especially as a cheap export fighter for pakistan and bangladesh.
This is a far better Broadside than anything Hasbro ever gave us. Yes, I know it is not a triplechanger but, honestly, I think we should get rid of the gimmick ESPECIALLY for Broadside. I know that basically every triplechanger has scale issues, a space shuttle is far bigger than a locomotive and a plane is far bigger than a truck, but with Broadside is just dumb! It goes from an aircraft carrier to a jet! Broadside is so disproportioned that one of his alt-modes can carry many dozens of the other one!
I think some triple changers should get new alt modes to make sense scale wise (for example: give Broadside a smaller ship instead of the aircraft carrier or give Astrotrain a güstav gerat war train turret instead of a regular steam locomotive)
Don't get the ToyEasy boats unless you enjoy pain. I have the first one and it actually drew blood from me trying to play with it. I ended up cancelling all my other preorders from them and don't regret it in the slightest.
A team of transforming and combining warships was actually my idea before! I was going to name them the "Navybots", and they were going to be fembots, and include a troop transport converted Ocean liner on their team.
very nice video. the robot smirk is intriguing as well. yeah he slightly smirks. the head mold is strange, as you say, Balt. Unfitting the marine theme. But oh beh. Those 2 big gray things on his cheeks are siphons, most probably. I noticed similar stuff near the engine room in cruisers (yeah, had a aircraft carrier in my city port recently and it was opened to the public. i also visited a couple of marine vessels aside, a destroyer and a research vessel too... pretty intriguing) this video of yours makes me remember when you firstly released the video of a big marine vessel transformer. MMC Knight Morpher series, KM-03 Cyclops (shockwave), based on the IDW Hearts of Steel miniserie, drawn by Guido Guidi (i'm lucky to call him friend) Gotta say this is an emotional moment, @baltmatrix, due to the fact that same video made me return to the TF Collection world, as i searched alot in the shops online and non to find all the HoS gang. And, by playing with Cyclops, i found some interesting things, further deepening my TF mechanics knowledge. In this little side note, i remember You having troubles to make the little submarine stay together as there were some parts you had not understood well. I wanted to share with you what i found, to help my fav youtuber with that little bot's issues. But time is tyrant, and i lost the chance due to family issues, taking my priority up. Only now i remember it all. Hat's down to you Balt, thanks for all
1:30 It's actually modeled after the J-20 except that the air intakes designed differently I had the 4D Brand model plane recently. Infact it's not even any of the planes because both of them didn't have the tail. 7:21 Macross theme playing in the background. This is one easy way to transform! I was afraid it's an MP mold.
Just stumbled across your channel and hey, you review this toy which I'm considering as my next purchase. Good, in-depth review on this one which has certainly given me most of what I wanted to know. Thank you.
For being what basically amounts to a 'Great Value'-brand Broadside, I am quite smitten with this one. I think he's well-proportioned. I love his legs and feet, which scream at the top of their proverbial lungs "Mega Man character!". This is a sweet figure, to be sure. I don't even mind the borderline shell-formery that goes into his transformation.
Reminds me of Delta Magnus. With makes sense - Ultra Magnus is a car carrier, this fellow is an aircraft carrier. Not gonna lie, that's a decent theming.
I want a Titan class G1 Broadside based on the cartoon design. He would come with a Deluxe sized Broadside based on the Marvel UK comic book design to stand with other Wreckers. Both would be triple changers and deluxe Broadside in robot mode would fit into the cockpit of Titan Broadside’s jet mode. It would also come with four Micromaster Aerialbots which would combine with a Core class Silverbolt (sold separately) to form Superion.
Ok, yes, I will agree that this is an incredible figure and all, but just... Y'all realize how gargantuan this guy would be if they were put into a show or series, right? Just... If we were to take the jets it comes with and turn them into Seekers and compare them to this guy's foot... Imagine how bloody massive this guy would be standing next to them!!
